"You will not be disappointed. The value is 10-fold, I say this as a 61 year old living on social security disability. He is very experienced and has pride in his family and work, with those old school values, today's society is missing. The water heater was removed and replaced with a brand new one. Other than replacing some violations with the original setup and we have hot water after 10 days waiting for Choice Home Warranty's service people to set up an appointment to see what was wrong. Tom was here the day I called and replaced the hot water heater. Yankosky Drain Cleaning & Plumbing (814)746-9687, have a customer for life. Give them a call, you will be glad you did."

"Joe from JMS Drain Services was my service technician who arrived well within the window scheduled service time. Joe came in, inspected the sink to determine how to resolve my issue, took out the tool (snake apparatus) to clear the sink, and departed my premises within 15 minutes. I was pleased he resolved my clogged sink so quickly so I could rest after a night's work. Thank you again, Joe."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

No, you should not see water in a sewer cleanout. If you do, it could indicate that you have a block or leak in your main sewer line—which can cause sewage to back up inside your home and potentially flood your yard. Your best bet is to call a local sewer cleaner if you notice any water or sewage around your cleanout.

A washing machine should drain the water used during its cycle through a drainpipe and out through the house’s plumbing. This is the same plumbing that sinks and shower drains run to, and if the U-bend is installed correctly, it shouldn’t smell. The total drainage from the house is then integrated into the city sewer system or, if you’re in the country, dispersed into a septic tank.

An active cleaning agent and a drain snake is the best way to clean a main sewer line. You can purchase a regular or enzyme drain cleaner or make a DIY drain cleaner with baking soda. Use your chosen solution at least once a month or as needed to keep your sewer line clear.

In the majority of cases, homeowners insurance will not cover a main sewer line root clog. The reason is that most insurance companies consider tree root damage to sewer lines as common wear and tear, which is also preventable. However, you may be able to buy optional add-on coverage, such as "service line coverage" or "sewer line endorsements," that would protect against root damage to your sewer line.

There are a couple of things you can do to help prevent your French drain grate from clogging. First, keep yard debris clear so it doesn’t wash into the drain and clog the grate. You can also install a screen or filter over the grate to prevent large pieces of debris from entering the access point.
