After several DAYS of back-and-forth voicemails and â weâ ll call you back in 10 minutesâ with a popular restoration company, I started to look for a better solution. While I canâ t say the basement flood is an experience I enjoyed, working with Noah and his team was beyond an A+ experience. "I had a poor experience. I hired this company to do a mold assessment in my apartment. I dealt with the owner. First, he requested cash or check payment only. He made an appointment and did not show up or contact me. I had to call him. In one of the rooms, the pipes above and whatever else the cause of the leak was, had been leaking repeatedly for 40 years, and the plaster constantly replaced. I was worried about mold ABOVE the ceiling on the beams and studs and not just the visible mold on the ceiling plaster and I worried it could be black mold. He did not seem to listen to what I told him and he did not use a water meter to check for saturation or a borescope or any other tools except taking a surface sample and air sample (the borescope and water meter I did not know about until after I had paid him for this inadequate job). He did not mention anything I said in the report. He was also rude and unkind and never provided me with a receipt."

Arrangements for the project were made, with some one named Lynn, for the company to send someone to complete the work. We were quoted over the phone 4500-5000 which included a mold test. A sub contractor with an entirely different company (National Mold Company) was sent. When the contractor arrived, he stated that the job would be much more simpler than first thought. This led us to believe that the job would cost less, no. All said and done, they charged $5500. All said and done, it's almost like no work was done. The stains and the smell are still there. Only one actual board was taken upon the attic room. The ceiling in the bedroom was primed and painted but are still visible and have a funky smell. At this point I'm going to. Do what we should have done; Do the job ourselves. Just now with $5500 less dollars in our pockets. A detailed receipt was not given even though it was requested."
