I had a poor experience. I hired this company to do a mold assessment in my apartment. I dealt with the owner. First, he requested cash or check payment only. He made an appointment and did not show up or contact me. I had to call him. In one of the rooms, the pipes above and whatever else the cause of the leak was, had been leaking repeatedly for 40 years, and the plaster constantly replaced. I was worried about mold ABOVE the ceiling on the beams and studs and not just the visible mold on the ceiling plaster and I worried it could be black mold. He did not seem to listen to what I told him and he did not use a water meter to check for saturation or a borescope or any other tools except taking a surface sample and air sample (the borescope and water meter I did not know about until after I had paid him for this inadequate job). He did not mention anything I said in the report. He was also rude and unkind and never provided me with a receipt.

I can’t say enough good things about Procyon. When a sudden flood in my basement occurred, their team responded with urgency and professionalism, arriving promptly and fully prepared. They quickly assessed the situation and got to work immediately. They ensured that every bit of moisture was taken care of, preventing any future mold or structural issues. I was especially impressed by their attention to detail. They didn’t just focus on removing the water, they also followed through with thorough drying, disinfecting, and post-remediation inspections to ensure my basement was safe and sound. They communicated with me every step of the way, which gave me peace of mind throughout the entire process. I want to thank Procyon team for taking care of my claim . I suffered a pipe break in my home and Procyon came and cleaned up and dried out my home also they testing my home for mold and made sure my home was safe to live in . Procyon also dealt with insurance company who didn’t want to pay and got to pay for my damages. I would highly recommend them!

They were very good. They were always on time and cleaned up after themselves. They were very respectful and the work was neat.

After calling in a panic with a foot of water in my basement, the owner and his staff came ASAP and vacuumed up the water, calmed us down, removed all the valuables like furniture, rugs and memorabilia to a safer place. They left dryers and fans in place 24 hours to prevent more damage from developing such as mold. They helped me maneuver my way through the insurance maze. My family and I were very grateful for the professionalism and compassion that was shown at such a stressful time.
