He was more than willing to discuss any details regarding the design. We had several discussions regarding the questions I had about both the project and the process of design. I told him that I wasn't yet sure if I wanted to use a steel post or a timber post. He gladly updated the drawing to include BOTH options, so I could decide at a later time.
