We had an unusable area of the yard that was filled with rocks, mulch and weeds, which they turned it into a beautiful patio using pavers with a 10’x12’ finish. When you’re winterizing your pool, you need to drain some of the water to prevent cracking and warping from ice. Nonetheless, you should never drain all of the water. Size is the main difference between a pool and a spool. Spools are typically about half the size of an average pool, so they’re ideal for yards without the space for a full-sized pool. Spools are also easier to heat, so they tend to be a higher temperature than pools and can be adjusted to get as hot as a spa when it’s time for a relaxing soak. Spools also contain jets and blowers, while most pools do not.

If your pool takes longer than one or two days to fill, you might be dealing with low water pressure. Using a water pressure gauge on your outdoor tap, you can check your water pressure. A reading of 40 psi or below is considered low. A leak, a nearby water shutoff, or several other reasons could cause this. 

If the water pressure isn’t a problem, you could have a low flow rate from clogs, corroded pipes, or other plumbing issues. It’s best to call in a local plumber to get to the root of the issue.
