"J & S Moving is the most amazing company to work with I had contracted a another company to move my two bedroom apartment 282 bedroom townhouse not only did the previous company not stage my living room and bedroom (they put my bedroom dresser in front of the window in my bedroom) I had contracted them to also do my packing and there were no labels on any of the boxes so I had no idea where they belong. I am a 57 year-old woman who is handicapped and I moved into a two floor townhouse 25% of the boxes they left on the first floor belonged on the second floor. They also did not put together my bed and I had contracted them to put together several other pieces of furniture that I needed to store my kitchen items in. They refused to do that in my panic and despair I reached out and found Jen. She completely empathize and understood my situation and promise me that when her guys came to my home they would not leave until everything was done. She was correct. I had two very amazing men here who were at my beck and call. In fact they would not allow me to move (I am handicapped and have major back problems) they had no issue, asking for instruction and bringing boxes to me because I was throwing things out and wanted to make sure I wanted to keep the things that were in the box and finding a place to put them. These gentlemen work efficiently and quickly they made me feel very confident. I wish I would’ve hired them for the whole move. I am moving next year to Arizona and I may not be able to afford what the whole move would cost, but I have told them they are definitely getting my work For packing my apartment. (10 is normal for me ha ha)"

"The mover Ahmad, a heavy set middle Eastern man had me make my payment via Zelle which I agreed to, he indicated that he did not receive my payment and he would not give me my furniture, he asked me to send another payment to a different company called September moving which I did. While he was unloading the truck, I contacted my bank who told me that both transactions went through, when I asked Ahmed for my duplicate payment back he said take it up with the company. Ahmad is a thief, I filed a police report, contacted the attorney General?s office in New Jersey, reported him to the FBI for bank fraud and reported him to the state of Florida who forwarded his case to the Department of transportation. Do not hire Ahmad, he is a thief and an extortionist. It?s only a matter of time before he is caught!"

"There was a bait and switch. Provided project details with very specific information. David quoted me total move for the day as $1500 to include the packing on the home. Movers arrived at 7:30 am (no call day prior to discuss). The actual movers didn’t know details and were nice guys but stated that the local move (no furniture) of 6 miles would cost $4600 instead of the $1500 quoted (3x the price). They just moved a total of 300 cubic feet (I have no idea what 300 cubic feet is with regards to moving) and said they couldn’t move anything more. So I paid $1500 to move about 25 boxes and 2.5 hours of work for 3 people. I’m going to be notifying the business regulator for their state as well as the BBB. I’m appalled that I now have to rent a truck and hire additional movers to finish the work. There goes my day off with the family. I don’t trust using Angi’s list after this experience."
