Eastland Movers, LLC

We hired Eastland Movers LLC and moved in June 2025. Relocated from Richmond, VA to Connecticut. The house was 3,600 SF with many rare antiques, oil paintings, and large heavy furniture. Two trucks, 5 experience packers and movers. They immediately stated, packed up the house in 1/12 days. Everything was meticulously wrapped, and carefully handled. The unloading went just as smooth. Not one item was damaged and no damage to the home we left or moved to. Everything was executed perfectly. There were no surprises on the estimate, what I was told and signed in the agreement was exactly what I paid. The moving crew was efficient, hard workers, very respectful of our items and polite. They were easy to work with on moving dates. The key, lock in the dates with a deposit as soon as you can. They book up very quickly. This is a high quality professional moving company that I highly recommend.

Hired Eastland Movers to move my son and his family into their first home. They moved from Owings Mills, MD up to Hanover PA. First of all, the cost of the move was very fair. The movers showed up on time, they got right to work and were very professional. They were friendly and courteous. They packed and wrapped all of the furniture well, no scratches or damages. I had to make them take a lunch break (I bought pizza for everyone) otherwise they would have just kept working. The move took over 8 hours in total. Additionally, the office scheduler Sara could not have been more helpful. She explained the whole process and sent me quote within minutes of our phone call. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. I had a very bad experience with a company I had contacted before Eastland, who gave me different answers every time I call with a new question. I highly recommend Eastland Movers.

A very good experience,From working with the front office to dispatch and the packers, Movers. Very friendly and transparent team. They explain the process and are very diligent on follow-up. The packers were very efficient and professional in their work. I would highly recommend Eastland. They had to pack some unusual items ( Tread mill, Pilates reformer, wine Barrell) and took great care in protecting each item.

We had a good experience with them. We moved locally. They provided an honest estimate, and did their best to minimize the cost. They were responsive and punctual and moved our furniture with almost no damage ( small inconsiderable scratch at the bed frame). I recommend them if you are local in DMV area.

We used EastLand Movers for our interstate move from Maryland to North Carolina. They were very responsive to all of our questions and informed us how to complete our move stress free . Eastland movers moved our mother from Potomac, maryland into an assisted-living apartment in Charlottesville, Virginia.. The move involved many fine antique pieces of importance to our family. The crew from Eastland consisting of Erick and Daniel arrived on time. They carefully wrapped each piece and were cordial, friendly, efficient and professional. They travelled directly to Charlottesville where we met them and unpacked, unwrapped and placed the furniture just as efficiently and professionally. We would recommend all of them without hesitation.

I had to move because of work from NC to DC and friend of mine used Eastland movers for their relocation. He recommended their service and i gave them a call. Over the phone Rachael was amazing, she did a great job with the estimate and my price did not change on the big day. Movers were young, awesome, hardworking guys! I respect all they did for us and will use them again in about a year

The guys were really nice and easy to coordinate with. Hiring and setting up the move were easy, they came on time and they were upfront with charges, giving me the opportunity to opt out when they were going to charge extra to move a cabinet with glass doors. However, they did not treat my house as carefully as I would have expected, and banged some holes in the walls at the new house. We are going to have to patch and then repaint the entire stairway, because we do not have the paint that the previous owner used.

I had a small move job and everyone I had contact with from the initial call to the confirmation texts to the movers arrival was all pleasant. There were no hidden fees, and when I had any questions they were handled with professionalism. The movers were very professional and packed my items and moved them without damage. Just A+ quality across the board. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I used Eastland for my local move in Maryland. Movers showed up on time and did a great job with packing and moving my stuff. Price was reasonable and affordable compared to other companies on the market. I am happy with their service and will use them again. If you schedule an in-house appointment, they will provide you with Flat Rate price and if you agree to that price they wont charge you anything else which is the best option to do business with someone. I liked that!
