They encountered some issues with the materials that were completely outside of their control, yet they found a way to overcome the challenges and the installation came out perfectly. "He finished the roof but did not tell me about the error in his workmanship. He did not finish the whole work. Update 12/22/2021: He finished the roof and said he fixed the problem, he showed me how he was to complete the repairs and after it was complete the work was not done in the manner he said he would do it. A new problem was noticed with the shingles and they are overhanging on a peak of the roof and are not attached and will blow off with high winds. The second part of the job, to put two sides on the shed was not done properly, he is charging me to come out to fix it, which is ridiculous, that is why contractors put that in their estimates. He was going to come out on a Saturday but change to Friday since it was going to rain on Saturday, when he called me and by the time he arrived on the job site it would be dark, I told him I did not want him to work in the dark with a flashlight. he keeps giving me excuses on why he cannot come out on certain days for personal reasons. The job should have been completed in October, except for his constant excuses for not being able to come out. If the problems are not resolved by the end of the year I will escalate this by other means."

"I hired JLF Construction to finish some spackle and paint our nursery. I wish I never did. I had Jose come out to give a quote. He looked everything over and immediately shot of a price way too high for what the scope of work was. I was providing all materials and tools just needed labor. I told him we would think it over and get back to him. From that day on he continued to harass me with phone calls and texts wanting me to hire him. Finally I explained we felt the price was too high and we'd be getting additional quotes. He then negotiated down to what I thought was a fair price and we hired him. He sold me on how he had over 40 years of experience. Showing pictures of work he recently completed that we liked. We set up a day for him to come out and do the work. I was working when he had the availability and my wife was home. She text me saying there were 3 people here total and she didn't think it was going too well. She said she thinks I need to look everything over but he was demanding payment and wouldn't leave. I text Jose and explained I wouldn't agree to pay until I was home to see the work completed. To my amazement when I got home the room looked awful. He had let his 20 year old son who had no experience cut in the paint. Lines weren't straight, paint on my ceiling in some areas and other areas paint didn't even go all the way up the wall and it wasn't a double coat cut in. The white paint under showed through where they cut in. I immediately called Jose expressing my concerns and he started threatening me, insulting me and telling me I want something for nothing. He threatened to come to my house the next day. My wife who is pregnant was afraid so I agreed to just pay him. He then offered to send his son back out but he refused to come fix it himself since he wasn't the one who did the cutting in. I refused. I was so disappointed after seeing all of his great reviews. I wish I never came across his business. We had to pay a professional painter to come out and fix the issues. Luckily they didn't try to change and arm and a leg. If I could tell anyone to look elsewhere when considering these guys I would. Also, just a side note he had his sons wash out the paint in my yard causing my grass to die. I had them on camera the entire time doing it and asked multiple times to please stop since I pay for lawn treatments. This entire experience ended up costing me more than what we budgeted."

They kept us informed of the status of the project and delivered on all their promises. They were easy to talk to and answered all our questions. It was obvious they have a lot of experience and excellent workmanship."
