"Carefully spent almost as much time assessing the situation of each tree he felled as the cutting process.Took all the precautions necessary to drop the tree in the right spot. These 60’to90’ trees were close to my house and he dropped them perfectly. Would easily recommend Eric."

Small jobs welcome

"Austin and his father arrived on time and were prepared to address my problem. They walked me through every step so I was well aware of what the tree would look like upon completion. They cleaned up beautifully and were extremely pleasant. I will recommend them to everybody."

"They were quick to respond to my request on Angi and they did a fantastic job grinding a couple stumps for me. I felt their price was very reasonable and they went right to work as soon as I agreed to their estimate. They did exactly what the they said in the estimate which was exactly what I needed to have done. They did a quality job and I am very satisfied with their work. I will hire them again. Added bonus was that they were very nice to work with and they made it fun for my dogs. The whole experience was a joy."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.

Tree roots are hearty and complex systems, so they don’t die immediately after the rest of the tree is removed. If you leave the root system in place, it takes anywhere from two to seven years for it to run out of nutrients. It is worth noting, however, that the roots stop growing and expanding after cutting down the rest of the tree.

Tree borers are difficult to control and remove once they make a home in your tree. However, with patience and determination, some methods can slow the damage or even eliminate the pests. But, once the damage is too much for the tree to handle, the only solution becomes removing it. Talk to a tree specialist early for the best chance at saving your tree.

Professionals use assessments, strategic cuts, specialized equipment, and safety measures to ensure healthy growth or the safe removal of trees or shrubs.

Leaving the tree stump and letting it rot is never a good idea, as this leads to insect infestations and other frustrations. Additionally, decomposing trunks are at risk for diseases that spread out to the remaining plants and trees in the yard, thus ruining your whole outdoor aesthetic. It's usually best to remove the stump at the same time you remove the tree.
