"They were quick to respond to my request on Angi and they did a fantastic job grinding a couple stumps for me. I felt their price was very reasonable and they went right to work as soon as I agreed to their estimate. They did exactly what the they said in the estimate which was exactly what I needed to have done. They did a quality job and I am very satisfied with their work. I will hire them again. As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. It is possible to burn out a tree stump if it is dried out and in an area of your property with a large buffer. Drill holes in the stump and dig around the base so it burns more easily.   • Do you have any third-party certifications?

  • What equipment and strategies do you plan to use?

If you’re planning on keeping the tree, unless the roots are invasive, there’s no need to remove them, as doing so can cause damage to the tree. If the tree has been cut down and the stump and roots are left, grinding and removing the stump can cause root decay for some species. For other species, the stump and roots will need to be removed to prevent pests, disease, and possible tree regrowth.
