"We recently hired Bradley Brothers to complete an air conditioning project at our home, and I could not be more pleased. Brian and his team were fantastic from start to finish, so I would like to share my experience. As a small business owner, myself, I hold other contractors to a very high standard. From the first appointment with Bradley Brothers, I was impressed. We live in a 1940s home that has no duct work, so installing air conditioning was going to be a chore. I had several other proposals for the project, and many contractors spent a few moments looking around and providing ridiculous bids. I even had several contractors never return my calls or failed to follow-up with a proposal. Then, Brian and Joe came and spent a significant amount of time. They took detailed notes and measurements and created a comprehensive plan to best execute the project. Within a few days they provided a detailed proposal with a very fair price. Another thing that stood out to me was how the project was explained. A rightfully large pet peeve of my wifeâ s is when people explain things to me, without including her. We have left car dealerships, stores and turned down other contractors for excluding her. The entire Bradley team went out of their way to make sure both her and I were well-informed, and both included in any decisions that needed to be made. This was a big deal for us. Once the work took place, the workmanship was immaculate. It was clear that not only were the Bradley team experts, but they took great pride in their work. We opted to have the system installed in our attic, where realistically it would seldom be seen. Yet they ensured that everything was meticulously and neatly installed. I have not only taken pictures and shared them with others, but I very well may invite guests into the attic to see what a wonderful job they did! If you are searching for an HVAC contractor, you need look no further than Bradley Brothers. They are experts, craftsmen and communicators, and they were a pleasure to work with. You will not be disappointed that you called them!"

Small jobs welcome

"Along with installing new bedroom and closet doors, the contractor also installed vinyl plank flooring in our living room, dining room, and bedrooms. He also hung our dining room chandelier, and installed moon lights above our fireplace. His attention to detail in his work was impeccable and he completes the job in a timely manner. I would recommend his services to anyone looking to have work done on their home."

"They did a fantastic job! There was a substantial glitch towards the end of the job. Jim resolved it within 90 minutes and had another workman there within hours. Photo was taken before plumbing fixtures were installed, it shows tile work only."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

There are several ways to get rid of fleas in your yard without harming your pet. One option is to use a flea control treatment (such as a spray or bomb) that’s safe for pets. If you’re unsure whether a certain product is pet-friendly, check the label or ask a pest removal pro. Alternatively, you can apply beneficial nematodes—which won’t affect pets or people—to your lawn.

When it comes to keeping birds from doing their business on your porch rails, you have several DIY options and home remedies you can try:

  • Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away.

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.

While they can be effective at getting rid of bed bugs, there are risks of using bed bug pesticides if they’re not applied properly. The EPA only approves products that meet safety standards, but misuse, such as applying spray to skin, using outdoor products indoors, or overusing products, can pose serious health risks. Always read and follow label instructions carefully. For the safest and most effective results, it’s best to hire a licensed pest control professional.

When baiting an iguana trap, several items should be avoided. Do not use poisonous baits, such as those intended for rats or mice. This practice is often illegal, is unlikely to attract iguanas, and poses a significant risk to pets or other wildlife. Additionally, avoid using herbs, fruits, and vegetables that are toxic to iguanas, such as fresh sage, rosemary, avocados, and eggplants. While ripe fruit can be an effective bait, be sure to remove any pits or seeds from fruits like apples, pears, and peaches, as they are highly toxic. Finally, steer clear of citrus fruits, which act as a natural deterrent.

Vinegar can be an insect repellant, as many bugs find its scent off-putting. However, vinegar is acidic and may also cause damage to any plants it comes in contact with. If you'd like to use vinegar to deter pests in your garden, be careful not to spray it directly on the plant's leaves or stems.

It's also worth noting that vinegar's effects can be short. To continue to repel bugs, you'll need to spray vinegar repeatedly.
