"We had a small job to remove/replace insulation that may have been soiled in our attic from a squirrel that got up there years ago. It was mentioned in our home inspection. After going up to take a look, Sean explained he didn’t see any soiled insulation but there was a small area that had been moved away from the corner and it was effectively empty. It was really too small a job though to warrant them coming out to blow stuff in so he recommended just taking a leaf blower up there to redistribute it evenly. Brilliant idea! He also graciously took a look at our crawl space and identified some areas we should address but ones we could do on our own. He was great to talk to and very helpful and reasonable. "Did a great job of installing insulation and drywall however, they cracked a wall when installing the drywall, they hammered rather than screw it into the studs. Now I must repair the cracked wall. Somehow my compact florescent light also disappeared from the laundry room . They also initially wanted to put the R-30 insulation on top of the R-11 that was already in the ceiling. When compressed the insulation would have lost some of its insulating capabilities so I had to tell them not to do that. Seems they should have known this."

"They put in sound proofing insulation in a wall in my furnace room. It didn't really work, but it wasn't their fault due to the wall configuration. But they were very professional and did the best job they could due to my circumstances. I would hire them again."

"Other than that, I was happy with them. American Home Shield recommended Destiny Air of Alvin, TX. I was happy with them until now. In July, the 10 month old air conditioner, dehumidifier did not work. Someone came out on July 6th and supposedly fixed it. I was gone until coming home the end of July and the humidity upstairs was the same. Someone came out on August 8th and repaired it as of today, it is drier upstairs. In the meanwhile, black mold came through the air ducts. Someone is supposed to come out on August 29th in the morning to take care of this. Today is the 25th, I have been calling them up to seven times a day with no response. The downstairs AC is 3 years old. Coming home on the 19th after a lovely trip- that AC did not work. It took 6 days for a service man to come out. He was 2 hours late, discovered something had to be replaced and it had to be ordered. It should take 2-3 days. Today, is 6 days later and nobody has called me back. I'm sitting here in the heat, can't really live upstairs because of the black mold. I'm at a loss for what to do."

After arriving & checking out the situation (we had requested additional insulation placed over the kitchen, following a remodel), he said that it would cost us $150 in addition to the $99 paid for the coupon. He said that the coupon bought labor costs, and the material costs were the $150. He said that he could not perform the job for $99, as he would be losing money."
