We have some water intrusion in an area that was supposed to be waterproofed, we do not have the molding installation for the downstairs flooring that was promised, and the dehumidifier has not rid the house of the mold smell, as was promised by Kevin, the sales guy. In addition the crew, and sales person, never noticed that the dehumidiifier and sump pump were installed in an area without an electric outlet, resulting in yet another expensive job to add to the $14,000 bill from JW. Also the billing practices with this job were shaky at best - just now, five months after the job was fully paid for, we received a mysterious bill for roughly $350 supposedly for some error that was recently discovered! So overall most of the job got done satisfactorily but it was a far cry from the exemplary work and service I received from John's several years ago when our encapsulation system was installed. I can only give an overall rating of OK since I know there must be better out there."

"We had a damp crawlspace. John's installed drainage with sump pumps (lead and backup with battery backup power) and encapsulated the dirt with 20 mil plastic. They also installed PU foam around the perimeter foundation walls to complete the insulation envelope of the house and a dehumidifier top keep the crawlspace area dry. In short, this work solved the problem we had and provided the added benefits of a more energy efficient and comfortable house due to the insulation as well as better indoor air quality. The work was done in four days and at considerably less cost than a competing contractor bid to do it. Another person that we had inspecting house later looked at the crawlspace and commented, "Wow! You could do brain surgery down here." We actually wouldn't recommend that though ;)"
