"We had a new gas furnace installed by RothHome. The install was really well done. It was an all day job. Workers were just great and I was able to ask questions about the installation. We had an air conditioner put it at same time the furnace was installed. After using the air conditioner for the summer we had our routine checkup for furnace and air conditioner. The worker that worked on our checkup noticed that the wiring looked like it melted the plastic at the terminal. He went back to the office and alerted the management of what he found. They came right out that day and rewired the condtioner. This company is really on top of things and no charge to fix the problem. I want to say the technician that found the problem was amazing to find this problem before it could have been worse. I need to mention his name as I was so impressed with his knowledge. "We were pleased to see this special since D&R Heating had done the installation in 2008.  Kory was the service tech and he arrived on time.  He was extremely thorough in checking the furnace, heat pump and the thermostats for both of our zones. The heat pump was low on refrigerant. Kory topped it off, checked its operation with the thermostat, checked the furnace exchanges to see if our ducts needed cleaning, and gave us some pointers on our furnace/heat pump operation. We were very impressed with his work.

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.

"They did a good job. Everyone was professional and I am happy with the installed furnace. They did not have fliers on the furnace models they were selling for me to examine or retain for evaluation. Even a website would have been nice. Everyone I dealt with were professional, responsive and ontime. Met with me on a Sunday morning which was a great time for me so I would not have to take time off. I was very satisfied with my overall dealings. I felt as though the end price was a bit high, but NOT out of line. Also, I figure their warranty service would be better, if needed, as I don't see Sears Heating and Cooling going out of busines"

"Service guy came as scheduled. Sent his "service" requirements to home base Home base calls back and lists, a very long list of what needs to be done and a very long list of what is not covered and what each item costs. The overall cost was outrageous and they weren't willing to give it to me in writing. Everything I had to pay for was overpriced, of course! They told me my other option would be to purchase my own water heater and they would reimburse me for what there water heater would cost, but no reimbursement for Labor, building permit, or any upgrades required by the local building department. The requirements of the building department were minimal. I went to Home Depot and had them do the installation and saved many hundreds of dollars. Lesson learned, have AHS do simpler repairs that don't require municipal building department approval. Have AHS pay for the equipment, and purchase installation from a trusted local installer."
