"The two man team arrived right on time at 8:00 am and got started. After lunch additional team members arrived and they all worked together and got the job finished by 4:00 pm. It was an old juniper hedge that needed removing and it was hard work but they did a great job and managed to get all the old roots and stumps out. Plus the entire team was incredibly polite and good-natured. I also thought the pricing was entirely fair and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. Good job Nissi !"

"Superior Building Concepts crew arrived and introduced themselves. They began work at once which included removing a temporary wall of 2x6's and plywood covering the opening where a sliding door was to be installed. Some of the exterior of the metal siding had to be removed and some trimming of boards to open the wall bay for them to install a 13'H by 12'W. The door track was installed and the metal sheeting cut to fit around to frame and finish nicely. The door frame was assembled and installed and it opens and closes very smoothly. During the job, the metal was wiped down to remove any particles with a soft cloth including the track metal cover. The white trim was totally clean and spotless and as you know we just had a tremendous amount of rain creating mud in some of their work area. They cleaned up the work area and then asked if I wanted the plywood they removed moved. The plywood in now nicely stacked on my property and I don't have to look any longer at the aging plywood on my arena. It looks great!

" I had no idea where to shop for all of our new stuff so John referred us to CFM for our hardwood floors and Greg was a good sales person. We had some flooring picked out that was kind of expensive and he showed us some that was almost the same but was a lot less money and it was one of the hardest flooring types available. We were very happy with the product and will recommend them to anybody looking for flooring. John told us about a custom cabinet maker that he said were very good and reasonably priced so we went there to look at different styles and see if they had something we liked. Its called Amcraft cabinets, we met with Mark and he showed us so many different styles, wood types and colors and so many options that we found just what we wanted. Then they came to our house and measured everything. A couple days later they sent us a 3-D picture of what the cabinets would look like in our house before we had to purchase them. We also got some options like Lazy Susan shelves for the blind corners and a spice rack and some under counter wine glass holders. They came and installed them and they fit perfect and they look so good. I didn't think we were going to afford something so nice but they were very reasonable. Once again I would recommend them to anyone looking for custom cabinets. Then John told us about Alpha Stone. We dealt with a lady named Kirsten and she showed us so many types of countertops that we had no problem finding what we wanted. They have many types of stone to choose from and since we had a sample of the flooring and cabinet wood we got just the color we were looking for. They installed it and it fit perfect. We just love the granite countertop. Its definitely a great place to shop for stone countertops. John had his electrician put 5 new lights and new plugins in the kitchen, what an improvement that was. We also bought a new range, dishwasher and refrigerator and John had his plumber hook up water pipes to them and a new drain pipe to the new sink. Then put it all in place for us. Its a kitchen to be proud of that's for sure. John is so good to work with and does little extra things that make it better yet. When he was there working my dogs got mad because they couldn't come in the house and they tore the trim off my outside garage door and I traded John some paint for some new trim and he installed it also. real good deal for me. We had an ugly old light at our front door, I bought a new one and John installed it for me for no charge. He also put new trim around our front door that I didn't even know we were getting and it really looks good. It was really nice working with John and Brian. They always cleaned up there mess when they were done for the day and they let us leave the  refrigerator and a couch in the house while they worked and they moved them around as needed. I used JAW a couple of years ago to upgrade our bathrooms and was completely happy with their work then also. If we need more home improvements we will use JAW again. John helped us get a lot nicer products than I ever thought we could afford and I am really proud to show people our house. "

"We hired Eric's to build a large retaining wall; approximately 100 feet long and 6 feet tall. They completed the work promptly, everyone I spoke to was professional and punctual, and the quality of the work is excellent. Fair price and great workmanship; recommend."

"This was the third time we have hired Stellar and I can say they certainly did a wonderful job once again! They are so considerate and efficient. Hard workers and go above and beyond to please the customer. Very patient especially when I decided to extend the flooring. They are now the company I will always call for all my needs. Micah is a great listener and will make suggestions if needed to help with your decisions and understanding of your products you have chosen. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants quality service at affordable prices. Margarita Maeder Troutdale OR"

"

Forest Landscape came out in February and quoted putting in a new concrete patio in my backyard.  It took me a few weeks to decided on the stamp and concrete color\release color.  They came on a Monday and tore out the old rotten wood deck, framed in a new larger patio, prepped the area, filled in the gravel and rebar.  They tamped down the gravel so it was very firm.  Two days later back they came with the concrete truck, and had to wheelbarrow the cement into my back yard.  They got the concrete in, waited for it to set a little while and then stamped the concrete.  The next day they came back and cleaned off the patio, dried the patio and sealed it.  Four days from start to finish for a beautiful patio.  I cannot say enough about their professionalism, promptness and communication with me.  From the original bid the work was clearly outlined, I was told in detail all the steps, the fact that they mixed the color into the concrete, rebar was being used, 4+" of concrete being poured and sloped for water run-off.  The estimator was great, the crew foreman was great, and the crew was great.  They cleaned up after themselves each day.  I do have a little bit of detail work to do on my house now, as my old wood deck was hiding some siding issues.  I did not expect them to do that work.

Now that I have my back patio completed, and feel extremey happy with their work.  I am planning to use them in the future to replace my horrible front walkways, too.

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

Children can become interested in playset activities as young as two years old, and many start to lose interest between ages nine and 12. Backyard playsets can grow and adapt as the children age and playtime interests change.

It’s usually possible to install a playground yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Playground construction can be complicated and involves moving large, heavy, and bulky components into place while you affix them to other pieces. Not only is the work physically demanding, but any mistakes could reduce the lifespan of your playground and potentially put any children who use the equipment at risk of injury. It’s relatively inexpensive to hire a professional playground installer, and it’s usually worth the investment, if only for the peace of mind it provides.

The cost of the materials to build a DIY playground will run you about $700 to $1,000, which could vary based on the type of lumber you choose to use. On the other hand, buying a pre-made playset costs $1,000 to $6,500 or more, and if you choose to have it professionally installed, you’ll pay an additional $330 to $700.

If you decide an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop is best for you, you should consult a basketball hoop installer. They will have the necessary tools and experience to install these correctly and safely. If you were to try to install these yourself, there is a risk of injury or improper installation, which could lead to damage to the hoop or your yard.

If you want to know from the outset how much you’re likely to pay to install an outdoor basketball court, create a budget breakdown that lists the following expenses:

  • Labor: How many work hours will you need, and what is the average price of labor in your area?

  • Materials: What material do you plan to use, and what is the average price per square foot?

  • Drainage, grading, and laying cement slabs: Do you need to level or prep your area? Have a professional evaluate your property to determine what you will need to pay a contractor to do this work.

  • Hoops, lighting, fencing, painting lines, and other extras: What extras are non-negotiable? Create a list of all of the extras you want your court to have.
