"Jerry was professional, competent and efficient with his work in repairing a dog damaged fence line. He paid attention to the details with replacing or adding pieces to match previous work, was reliable with effective communication stating when he was available and keeping to the schedule and bid. I would easily rehire and recommend him as I was very satisfied with the excellent work. Thank you!"

"The problem turned out to be a burned out small electric door switch. I believe the price was way too expensive for the service performed and the price of the door switch. What more can I say? It got done."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Handyman – Reliable, Skilled, and Professional! I couldn’t be happier with the work Ian did for me! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. He arrived on time, fully prepared, and ready to tackle everything on my list. Whether it was fixing drywall, installing shelves, or handling some tricky electrical work, he executed each task with precision and care. Not only is he incredibly skilled, but he’s also professional, courteous, and honest—qualities that can be hard to find these days. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and even offered helpful maintenance tips for dealing with a leaky faucet. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, talented handyman who gets the job done right the first time, look no further! I’ll definitely be calling Ian again for any future home projects. Highly recommend!"

"Mark is truly a jack of all trades. He installed our range hood with a chimney to ceiling and secured our dishwasher. This install had it's challenges and Mark was able to overcome them all with his diverse skills. What he accomplished would have been typically 3 different contractors. He's a 1 stop shop. He is very thorough and ensures he does his diligence. He's a super friendly guy and wants his customers to have a great experience. And he warranties his work - what a concept these days! Definitely recommend him."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Upgrading your home’s electrical system in Redmond can significantly enhance resale value and attract buyers. Modern electrical panels, dedicated circuits for home offices, and EV charging station rough-ins are increasingly desirable. Solar-ready wiring and whole-house surge protection also appeal to buyers seeking energy efficiency. These upgrades not only improve safety and reliability but also position your home competitively in Redmond’s active real estate market, especially with many buyers relocating from larger cities.

Helpful?

Redmond’s high desert climate—with hot summers, cold winters, and frequent dust—directly affects electrical projects. Materials must be rated for wide temperature swings and UV exposure. Outdoor installations require sealed, dust-resistant components to prevent damage from wind and sun. Planning electrical work between spring and fall is ideal, as frozen ground and snow in winter can delay trenching or exterior upgrades. These local weather patterns make material selection and timing especially important for Redmond homeowners.

Helpful?

In Redmond, main panels, kitchens, and garages are frequent candidates for electrical upgrades. Older properties may need aluminum wiring replaced or additional circuits for modern appliances. Garages and workshops often require new outlets or dedicated circuits for power tools. Outdoor areas, such as patios, irrigation systems, and RV hookups, commonly need weather-resistant upgrades. Homes on larger lots may also require electrical work for well pumps or outbuildings, reflecting Redmond’s rural character.

Helpful?

Combining electrical work with other home upgrades in Redmond is a practical way to streamline your project. Coordinating electrical upgrades with kitchen remodels, HVAC installations, or adding smart home features reduces disruption and can lower overall labor costs. Scheduling multiple projects together also means fewer permit applications and inspections, which saves time. Local electrical contractors often recommend this approach, especially during Redmond’s busy construction season from April to October.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Redmond, choose materials that withstand temperature extremes, dust, and dry conditions. THWN-2 copper wire is preferred for its durability in both wet and dry settings. Use UV-resistant conduit and weather-sealed boxes for outdoor work, and opt for NEMA 3R enclosures to protect against wind and sun. For underground wiring, UF-B cable is recommended. Always install weatherproof outlets and surge protection to handle Redmond’s high desert storms and power fluctuations.
