"FullTime Contractor replaced seven windows in my home, and replaced a double door to the deck, with a slider. I was very pleased with the services of Jason Olinger and his field team; noteworthy: (1) informative website, (2) discovery & review meetings clearly identified options, scope, schedule, and cost; a concise Statement of Work was developed; (3) periodic 'touch-bases' informed me of visits for measurement, status of material order, materials delivery, planned installation dates, and progress reviews/updates; (4) materials delivery was smooth; (5) install was smooth, and the install team very friendly and informative; (6) quality of work was exceptional; (7) customer satisfaction inquiry was appreciated; and (8) billing was clear and simple. I highly recommend Mr. Olinger & his FullTime Contractor team and won't hesitate to call upon them again, soon!"

"Took a little longer that expected. It was 4 months from signing contract to actual installation. Local installer was changed and I was not informed. Kept attempting to call the original installer and no calls returned. The team that installed the windows were professional and thorough. They were respectful of my home and dogs. They did a solid job."

"Drew is a rock star! He came to our home twice to assess and confirm what was actually needed prior to starting the job. Rather than replace the door, he found a solution that saved us a lot of money! He shows up on time and does beautiful work! We’re recommending him to all of our friends!"

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

Professionals clean window screens the same way a homeowner can—by removing the screens and cleaning them with a sponge. A window cleaning pro may come with better equipment, like a high powered wet/dry vacuum or pressure washer to speed up the process and achieve a deeper clean.

Some hardware or specialty window stores in your area may repair damaged screens, but it’s less time-consuming, more convenient, and potentially more affordable to hire a screen repair technician to come to your home to do the work on-site. The screen technician will have the tools and experience to get the work done the same day, and they can inspect other screens while there to help avoid repeat repair costs in the future.

Yes, if you have ventilated skylights, you can install insect screens on them. Insect screens for skylights cost $10 to $50 each, depending on their size and quality. Most pros highly recommend insect screens for ventilated skylights because they keep pests outside of your home while allowing fresh air inside.

Professionals ensure repairs not only fix current problems but also prevent future issues, improving efficiency and aesthetics.

The cost of a window repair varies significantly depending on which part is damaged. Here is a breakdown of common repairs and their estimated costs:

  • Broken seal or fogginess between panes: $70–$245

  • Cracked pane: $40–$100

  • Broken glass: $200–$2,000

  • Sash, seal, or track repair: $200–$600

  • Latch or hardware issues: $75–$200

  • Broken window frame: $175–$1,000

  • Window screen replacement: $140–$480
