"I had an old Canary yellow cast-iron tub, and replaced it for a beautiful new, safe, walk-in shower with some extra goodies. I felt the seamless one piece, water tight wall was a huge benefit and no caulking in the corners. The installer, Sang, was very enjoyable and did a fantastic job. What surprise me was, how much more money the other companies that offer acrylic were asking, it didn’t make sense. They are in their five stars."

A good soaking tub will allow you to completely submerge yourself in the water, so it needs to be at least 20 inches deep. Luxury soaking tubs are 24 inches deep so that you can easily have enough space to be submerged in the water once the tub is full.

It is possible to install a two-in-one unit that has both a shower and a walk-in tub so you can still have both in smaller bathrooms or provide a showerhead for those in the household who prefer taking showers. You’ll hear these referred to as walk-in tub and shower combo units.
