"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

His professionalism, unique expertise, and more than reasonable prices makes him a master at his profession. He is truly customer oriented. Heâ s not satisfied with the job performed unless the customer is satisfied. Their cleanup for any tree service is so well performed you canâ t even tell their were there! Truly a remarkable, reputable, dependable and honest company. AND he promptly answers and returns your calls!!! I know right!? But very true! "Very friendly professional on time. Great service. they went out of their way to meet me on their day off for a quote showed up on time. Done exactly what they said they would do cleaned up after their self and at no additional charge taken limbs that I had previously pruned off of other trees. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, and I am getting ready to have them back for another tree removal"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Light-bark trees are most notorious for producing lots of sap when wounded. These varieties include maples, birches, poplars, dogwoods, magnolias, and elms, and they will bleed more when the trees are dormant. That’s why it’s a good idea to prune them in the summer months rather than waiting until winter.

Consumers typically do not need to worry about the cost of tree insurance, as professional tree service companies pay for their own coverage. For a tree service business, an average U.S. policy covering about $1 million in general liability costs roughly $40 a month or $500 a year. More extensive policies, providing between $500,000 to $2 million in coverage, can cost between $3,000 and $6,000 annually, depending on the company's size and scope of work. Tree service professionals should speak with an insurance company to determine the right plan for their business.

The best way is to start controlling tree height long before it grows too large, via careful pruning through the years. But that’s not always possible. If a tree has become too high or too large, use selective pruning to remove the most troublesome branches, one by one, without topping the tree. Gently shaping a tree like this can, over time, correct problems. You can also find growth inhibitors to spray on a tree to stop it from growing too rapidly, but use these sparingly if at all.

Any cutting of tree roots can hurt or kill a tree, which is why it's recommended you don’t do it unless the roots are damaging or invasive on a nearby structure like your home. You should never cut more than 15 percent of above-ground tree roots at one time. If you have any questions about cutting tree roots, contact your local arborist.

Deciduous shade trees (the type of trees whose leaves fall off in autumn) need to be pruned in late winter—between February and March. That’s because it’s easier to find and remove sick or dead branches when no leaves are present. And wounds close and heal faster in colder temperatures so pruning them at this time also makes them less prone to infection.
