"I needed to have the bottom (both sides) of a door frame replaced due to wood rot. Kirsten also hung a screen door after replacing the rotten wood on the door frame. I'm very happy with the results. He did a fine job and I will definitely hire him again. I already have the next project lined up!"

"I needed my Chimney repaired in order to meet inspection when selling the house and I had several other brick garden projects also. They worked in one of OK's high heat wave periods on the roof! Everything was very professional and made my front and back yard just come alive! Nice people. Even found tree help for me when my sycamore decided to break from the top and fell into my yard."

"Everything was done as discussed and quoted. We added several things as the job progressed (Floor covering, baseboard replace tile, all wood shelving, sub floor repair, and more.). All went well and on time. They added wall texture MATCHING existing texture. Can not believe how perfect it was."

Wall Repair FAQs, answered by experts

DIY is possible for small projects. Professional installation ensures structural integrity and durability for larger walls.

There are contractors specifically trained in the design and construction of retaining walls. Retaining wall contractors are skilled at dealing with the soil on your property and assessing what kind of drainage should be installed. They will recommend the best materials to use for the project and can handle the processing of permits by local authorities.

Even if you think you know how to build a retaining wall theoretically, doing the actual work is a completely different story. There are lots of nuances in building retaining walls, and the slightest oversight can compromise their integrity. Therefore, we recommend you hire a pro to build, repair, or replace retaining walls.

Through proper drainage solutions and compacting the foundation soil.

Railroad ties can be good for retaining walls, but it depends on the area. They have a desirable rustic look and are durable. The problem is they’re treated with creosote, a preservative the EPA says poses a risk to humans and wildlife. Over time, the preservative seeps out of the wood and into the ground. Many areas have banned the use of creosote-treated wood on residential properties. If your area does allow it, never use railroad ties near an edible garden or drinking water source. Instead, use wood that’s treated with an EPA-approved preservative or a wood-alternative composite material.
