"They had started off great and the work was good and had the second part of this was done poorly. The steps are uneven and it makes me feel like I am going to fall forward. A poor job done in an unprofessional manner. They were going to give me a discount and refund and have not. When they said they would be here they would and good on communication and the owner he did try and cover everything except the steps are the only thing but important to me and they wanted to recharge me to redo the mistake they made. The only thing I asked for was a paper receipt and estimate, not an email they did send this and very accommodating and this was very good."

"Price was a bit higher than some but in the middle overall. Had quotes from $1900-$5100. Project included pressure wash, scraping, some wood replacement/repair, caulking of all joints, painting with quality satin finish Sherwin Williams exterior. One color change for front door. Prep was done in one day. Wood repairs and 95% of painting done day two. Finish painting and clean up morning of day three. Great quality and workers. TCB coordinated schedule with gutter company so painting was done after gutters came down and then new gutters were installed after painting completed."

"I had a standard gate on my 6' privacy fence. We had a storm with strong winds and gate was pushed so hard it ripped the picket with the latch off. This was a chronic issue with the wind. They removed the old gate and built a new gate design that was much stronger and dependable. great work."

Patio Covers questions, answered by experts

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

Yes, you can replace just the fabric on an awning without having to replace the entire awning frame and hardware. This process will take a professional about one to two hours. If you want to DIY, it could take longer, especially for large or retractable awnings. Replacing the fabric on an awning can improve the look of your home and help naturally cool your interior and exterior spaces.

Durable materials suited for climate include aluminum for coastal areas or composite wood in varying environments for durability and minimal upkeep.

Yes, most awnings include warranties for materials and installation. Confirm terms before purchasing.

Clean regularly with mild soap and water, and retract during severe weather to prevent damage.
