"Mike and his crew were very busy and it was a challenge finding a day that would match both our schedules, but we eventually worked things out. They arrived on time and did a thorough job determining exactly where I wanted the trees planted and the drains run. Mike made sure to plant the trees to accommodate a planter ring per my request. They did a really nice job. The French drains were a bit more problematic. The clay soil did not lay down very well after the drain lines were dropped into the trenches and one of the drain tie-ins to the downspout did not look as clean as I would have liked. Mike's crew did move and spread all the excess dirt from the project to an area on the side of the house that had some drainage issues which solved two problems at once. Overall I thought they did a good job and I would use Freeman's Landscaping again in the future.

"had purchased this on a Deal. I moved my office to the in-law suite, and wanted something outside my norm - yet not too jarring. The decoraator is in Mass. We communicated via email, Pinterest., Houzz, their website and phone conference. I planned to reuse my light cherry office furniture, but needed to get rid of the white wall look. I sent photos of the room and a floor plan. I answered their online style questionaire and sent photo of the furnishing, my favorite Arts n Crafys desktop lamp and some of the art work I wanted to use. The result was a vibrant palate that is invigorating and joyful to work in. Using the colors from some paintings I collected in Africa15 years ago and my electric taste. the result was very bold. (Formerly my definition of bold was any color other than white or beige. The cair rail and lower walls are a terracotta with a rich deep gold on top. The remaining woodwork and doors are a dark slate gray with a satin finish. (Really - no white glossy woodwork.) I feel like I am in some exotic place when I work. I have met with other designers in the past. They ask your likes, then tell you what think regardless. Not so here, the process was interactive, two sided and balanced. The results are stunnung. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, even if no big deal is available.

"Overall a disappointing experience. Jill is really nice on email and asks all the right questions-we sent pics of our room from all angles, specific measurements and actual blueprints of the room for her to use in her design. She is good about asking what style you like, and really seems to love what she does. That said, the turnaround time for this was crazy-I didnt get the finalized concept board until April 4 2012. To be fair there was lag time when I was searching for blueprints for her-and she apologized many times for the delays due to the response of the Angies List promotion.
It would have been worth it if the concepts/furnishings she provided wowed me, but we haven't used a single thing that she suggested despite lots of time spent telling her what styles etc we wanted, and she didnt completely address a couple of my primary concerns which were how to utilize the deep shelf space in the room and lighten up the overal area. I got some good ideas from Jill, and I love that her concept ideas come in an email with click through links to the furnishings/colors she suggests-quick satisfaction there!  I am disappointed in this experience overall, and glad it was not a "full price" disappointment.
