Small jobs welcome

"When a huge pine tree blew over and landed about 10 feet from our home we needed someone who could get the job done quickly, safely, and with minimal property damage. Lumberjack Trees did just that. They came in and made quick work of the tree. They were considerate of us during scheduling and were able to complete the tree removal before our children’s nap time. We feel the value Lumberjack Trees provided surpassed the price we paid for their services. We will definitely use them again in the future!"

"Nick took the time to fully understand what I wanted done and explained how I could achieve that while also keeping my tree healthy. His crew was prompt, thorough and very respectful. I will use him again in the future as it is so hard to find people who do what they say they are going to do."

"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

"Kenney and his crew are very professional and do what they say they will do and more. Kenney made sure the project was clean and everything was to my satisfaction before leaving the work site. Each crew member knew what their job was and didn't need instructions to start working. They worked together like a fine tuned machine. Kenney's rates are very fair for the work done. You can't go wrong in my opinion if you use Tree Master Tree Service for tree removal or trimming, stump removal or shrub removal or trimming. Let them give you a quote. You won't be sorry you did."

"Just the best. Nathan did a superb job! He trimmed a tree and removed a large, dying tree that had fallen from a vacant property into our yard. His work was excellent and his cleanup afterward left my yard immaculate. I would highly recommend Nathan for any tree service you need and I plan on having him do all my tree work from now on."

"JD Tree & Outdoor Services is a highly professional and skilled tree removal company. I have had them remove three trees for me. They also fixed my carport! Their pricing is very reasonable considering the expertise and quality of their work. I would highly recommend hiring Jason and Deanna's company for yard service or maintenance of any kind. They get the job done, and right!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

It enhances property aesthetics, improves tree health, and prevents safety hazards.

Pruning a tree is a yearly DIY job that involves removing small dead branches, leaves, and blooms to help the tree grow bigger and stronger. You can often complete the job with basic home gardening tools. Trimming a tree, however, removes larger sections to control the direction the tree grows in and protects your home, utility wires, and yard from potentially dangerous branches.

Maple trees start the growing season by developing small groups of red flowers where the tree's fruit, the samaras, will appear in the coming weeks. Later in spring, the samaras, which many call whirlybirds or similar names, develop into single-winged seed carriers that spin when falling or drifting in the wind.

Most trees can be successfully transplanted while they are young, but pines, walnuts, and some oak tree varieties are more difficult to move because their root systems grow deeper than most other trees. Also, trees adapted to sandy soil with wide root systems like beeches, willows, and aspens are harder to dig out because their roots spread much farther out from the trunk. In these cases, unless the trees are very young and small, it’s a good idea to consult a tree planting professional.

The Christmas tree type that smells the best to you will ultimately depend on personal preference. But if that classic Christmas tree smell is important to you, choosing a type of tree known for its scent is a safe bet. Try a balsam fir for a spicy, comforting scent or a Douglas fir for a sweeter smell. You may also like Fraser firs, Scotch pines, and blue spruces.
