"It went pretty good.  I had all the materials for them to use.  The kick plate was too tall.  Will need to find the right size.  The front door has a crack in it, which I thought would fill in with the wood filler.  It was in a bad spot, so when the stain was applied, it did not fill in. I will clear coat it, add the kick plate & insulation.   I will have John will come out again - will look at his coupons & get a list together.  Definitely need the porch light replaced soon.  We also discussed a possible electrical issue with the porch light - seems the builder /electrician (1988) may have connected the front light switch with the hall bathroom & bedroom lights.  I was glad that John was able to schedule me, it was 2 months!   John & Wayne were very nice & I will call again soon! "

"Switch was replaced but Choice Warranty refused to have ballast and fluorescent light replaced. I had to get technician to come back to replace 4 bulbs and two ballast for the kitchen and pay a service fee, parts, and additional travel expense for getting this done. The work done was handled professionally, within a reasonable time, and in good order. I was thankful the technician was able to get the job done even though Choice Warranty did not help in fixing the ballast problem. the second visit was reasonable in cost."

The installer returned at the agreed time and completed the installation in record time. Work was done well and installer was very professional. Someone from the company called and came the next day to check on the work and make sure we were satisfied which we were.

"For the price that we paid, I feel that we received a good value. The work was done well and in a somewhat timely manner. There was a delay when the painter had to leave town due to illness in the family. This was unavoidable and Roger communicated with us throughout. Roger's employees are true artist. They came up with affordable solutions for some issues that we had. There are a few places that the paint work was a little sloppy, but considering that we paid about 20% less than the next lowest estimate, we can't complain. The reason that we won't use this company again? The valve that supplies water to our dishwasher broke off during a day early on in the remodel. This was no fault of the crew, just an old valve. The problem is that no one told us this had happened. We turned our dishwasher on and left and when we came back, everything inside, including the end of one of the washer "blades" had melted. I called Roger and we agreed that we would pay to fix the valve and he would pay to replace the damaged dishwasher "blade". He advised me that he had ordered the part, which I had researched and knew to cost around $90. Three weeks later, he said that the part still had not come in. I advised him that I would like to withhold the $125 balance for the completed job until the part was installed. He agreed that was fair. It is 2 months later and we never heard back from Roger about the replacement part. Not only has he not called us, but he has ignored the 2 times that I attempted to contact him to ask about the part. This is extremely unprofessional. If not for that one thing, I would definitely hire him in the future. It's a shame that he ended our contact this way.

"Spoke to Ray and he was nice enough to honor the Groupon even though the date was going to expire before we could get the work done, however, he (or someone)  was to call and set an appointment and never did.  I called and left 2 or 3 messages with no response, and even drove to the business to make sure they were still in business.  After that, a man did call to set an appointment.  However, on the date he had to change it because of other jobs the company had him on.  This happened twice.
When he did arrive, we outlined the  job and added the ceiling to be painted knowing this might cut down on work completed.
He was a nice young man, however (again) in 8 hours all that was completed was the ceiling (and it needs touching up) and a very light coat of primer.
I painted the room the next day in 2.5 hours!
I just thought professional painters could complete one room in 8 hours.
