"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

"Great bunch of guys that were on time. They completely removed two large trees and topped another one that was very close to the house, shed and garden pond. They all worked quickly with no damage to existing structures. They raked the lawn of debris and even blew off my roof and gutters."

"Jason was extremely nice, kept us informed of progress, when he was coming, what he was doing, etc. The final payment was a bit more than the quote, but it took much longer to stain our fence and quite a bit more material than what he was expecting. He also put a clearcoat on our playground equipment - overall the work he did was worth every penny!"

"BTR was amazing. He took care of more limbs than I told him originally. He is very professional and personable. I would recommend him to anyone. I appreciated the respect he gives the customer. He gave an honest and fair price. He was better than any of the other tree trimming service that I had contacted."

"Jeff showed up to provide our estimate and was ready and willing to start the job immediately. His prices are extremely competitive, and he did a great job in trimming our tree as well as the clean up. Jeff is very nice, professional, and a pleasure to do business with. We definitely recommend him!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Palm tree stumps can take as long as seven to ten years to rot naturally. Whereas some tree stumps rot within a year, palm trees tend to last longer due to their deep root networks. Chemical rotting (described above) can help speed the process up so your palm tree stumps rot in under two months.

Peach trees don’t tend to live as long as other types of trees and crops. They tend to last only about 12 years, and you shouldn’t expect to see a full peach harvest each of those years, either. Young peach trees need a few years to get established before they produce fruit, but you should have plenty of peaches for your pies and cobblers during their mature years, around years four through eight.

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

For safety reasons, leaning trees are best removed by a professional, as they may often tear away from the hinge, causing you to lose control over where the tree falls. If you choose to cut down a tree leaning slightly, avoid cutting off root protrusions before you start. Make your hinge a little longer than usual by cutting it deeper (up to 30% of the diameter) and applying a wedge into the felling cut on the side the tree is leaning. Stand away from the direction the tree leans while making your felling cut.
