"It's been one week, since we got the pest control for roaches done. The roaches have certainly decreased, but not completely wiped out. Still waiting for that to happen."

"Brandon Redden with Bulwark did a fantastic job with my visit. He not only did our normal spray, but dealt with a hornets nest for me and left me several traps for any ants or critters which will find their way inside in the future. Very friendly, attentive, and professional as well. Ask for this guy the next time you need pest control service!"

"This was the best customer service that I have ever experienced with this type of situation. I was scared of what was happening and he assured me that everything would be okay and it was better than okay it was great. Very professional and polite. He took the time to explain everything to me and checked my home for entry points and let me know what he found immediately and how he was going to resolve the issue. Thank you so much for the service that I received. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for control of unwanted pests. Very reasonable and thoughtful. Thank you so much."

"I heard animals scratching in the walls and smelled strong odors. Ryan helped diagnose where in my house the animals were getting in, set one way doors to get them out, and secured my crawlspace entry doors to keep them out. Highly recommend!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

One scorpion sighting doesn’t necessarily mean there’s an infestation, but finding a scorpion in your home should always be taken seriously. Don’t panic, though, as that will only make the situation more stressful, and you may act irrationally out of fear. Most scorpions have extremely painful stings that cause swelling and redness, but they’re not life-threatening.

However, while not all species are dangerous, the Arizona bark scorpion, which is common in the southwest U.S., is highly venomous and potentially deadly to humans. Never attempt DIY removal if you suspect it may be the Arizona bark scorpion—instead, contact a pest control professional immediately for safe, effective scorpion removal

In most cases, a mother bird will return to a disturbed nest after the disturbance has passed. However, it can be hard for a mother bird to find a relocated nest. So, while it’s false that a mother bird will abandon her nest if it’s been disturbed, it’s not a good idea to relocate a nest with live babies or eggs in it.

If there is food sources and other places to build a nest, wasps may come back after their nest is gone. However, if you take measures to repel wasps, like planting pest-repellent plants or sealing cracks and gaps around the outside of your home, they aren’t likely to return. Be diligent at checking for new nests each spring to get rid of them as soon as possible and prevent bigger swarms of wasps in your yard.

Yes, sleeping in your house after receiving a pest control application should be no issue, but the best course of action is to wait for the treatment to dry completely. The drying process takes a few hours. Some treatments, such as fumigation, may require a longer drying time, so be sure to ask the technician what drying time you can expect.

Both spikes and loose nets can be installed over nest sites to prevent the bird from returning, but nets are not a humane option since birds and other wildlife can get tangled in them.

Spikes are a humane alternative that deter nesting without harming the birds. In small areas, like vents, a very fine mesh net can be installed to prevent the bird from returning. These nets don't generally pose a risk to the birds.
