MILO INSULATION proudly produces MILEX™, an innovative natural insulation crafted exclusively from grain Sorghum (commonly known as "Milo"). Using state-of-the-art equipment and a patented production process, our flagship loose-fill insulation product, MILEX™ Thermal MAX®, is made using natural, sustainable, plant-based ingredients and without the use of expensive, potentially harmful polymers. Unlike traditional insulation materials, MILEX™ Thermal MAX® maintains its structure over time, significantly reducing or even eliminating the need for reinsulating. This durability can save homeowners hundreds or even thousands of dollars over the life of their home. Biodegradable to ISO standards, MILEX™ Thermal MAX® is produced from sustainably-sourced sorghum grain, a renewable agricultural crop grown by local farmers on our nation's high plains. MILEX™ Thermal MAX® provides an environmentally-friendly alternative without compromising quality, performance or cost-effectiveness. MILEX™ Thermal MAX® offers homeowners the perfect, affordable solution to traditional, potentially hazardous insulation products. We feel it's the very best blow-in insulation available anywhere in the world, and we're fully confident you will too... Experience the MILEX™ difference!

"Overall this was a great experience with the company. The sales rep was very helpful and responsive. She worked with me on getting a quote remotely as I was outside their regular service area. The install team was great. They worked quick and were very professional. They also did great explaining what they were going to do as well as cleaning up afterwards. Insulation was installed evenly with no gaps or missed spots. They sectioned off areas that needed it and take pride in their work. The material itself is very unique, light, fluffy, and no dust like with cellulose. It is very easy to move if you need access under it and smells vaguely like breakfast cereal. The effect on how much my heater and AC have needed to run was immediately noticeable. I highly recommend it especially if you have someone in the home with allergies to things like dust."

We do complete home remodeling and repair new constitution and much much more

"I hired the owner to renovate a property of mine. We agreed that money paid would go towards supplies and payment. Details on the job were given and he agreed. He started on the outside siding and it was ok. He communicated with me about details. Because of that, I hired him for the inside. He did not paint the siding before starting the inside as it was very cold at the time. As he was working on the inside, I noticed he kept trying to coerce me to use cheap or homemade products, but I refused as we already had an agreement and his rates were according to the products I wanted. Those services never got done. I said I wanted laminate flooring. He purchased vinyl peel and stick and placed it right on the concrete. No underlayment was used. When I voiced my disapproval because I had proof that is not what I asked for, he disappeared. My house is still as of 03/26/2021 a complete mess. Both bathrooms are incomplete. He removed the old countertops but never purchased the countertops I selected. As he was painting, he got paint on cabinets that was never removed nor restrained. Doors that were removed to be painted were never placed back. He was supposed to have ordered double front doors in November. According to him in January, he is still waiting for it to come in. He told my husband that he brought the doors and someone must have stolen it along with the countertops. Avoid this man and his company. You will only have to pay someone to repair his sloppy work. He is a scam."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Heat lost through uninsulated basement walls can account for up to 30% of the total energy lost through heat transfer to the outdoors. While homes in mild climates won't gain as much benefit from having an insulated basement as those in cold climates, the effects are still noticeable on your energy bill.

The primary purpose of insulation is to maintain comfortable temperatures in a home, whether that’s cool air when it’s hot out, or warm air in winter, but that’s not all it can do. All options will also minimize heating and cooling needs, lowering both your carbon footprint and energy bills in turn. And some options, like rigid foam boards, even offer soundproofing benefits, too.

Yes, you can install insulation over ductwork, and doing so can save you money. Without insulation, the HVAC unit must work harder to force warm or cool air around the home, and once the air reaches the vent, it may not be the correct temperature. Insulating HVAC ducts makes your system work more efficiently, saving you money on heating and cooling bills.

Yes, you can install insulation behind drywall yourself, but only if your walls are not finished. If your studs are exposed, installing fiberglass insulation in roll or batt form is very straightforward and just requires a few tools and some safety equipment. If your walls are already finished and you’re looking to add insulation, it’s better to hire a professional, as you’ll likely need blown-in insulation, which can be dangerous to work with and a challenge to get into the proper areas in your wall voids.

Installing new insulation in a home is worthwhile if your existing insulation is old and has lost some of its insulative capability or if you don’t have insulation installed already. Installing new insulation will boost your home’s energy efficiency, which can reduce your heating and cooling bills and save money on HVAC repair and maintenance in the long run. New insulation also keeps your living space more comfortable, so you and your family will benefit from the work as well. Finally, installing new insulation boosts your home value, making it especially worthwhile if you plan to sell.
