They are filing for bankruptcy and are being investigated for fraud. If you run into Jeff Johnson and he wants to sell you a pool and you believe him when he talks about being an ex-marine. RUN like you are in a horror movie and just saw the chainsaw. He took $45,000 from us, a retire teacher and veteran. We saved that money for 20 years so we could do this and do it what we hoped was right. I wish I hadn't made the goal money wise and never called about swimming pools. I was duped."

We are a well established pool construction & pool and spa service center, we offer water testing in the store, and welcome troubleshooting questions regarding equipment and water chemistry with our customers. Our construction fees vary according to the work needed; jobs are bid, then completed per contract. We use licensed subcontractors, with established experience in pool construction. Service fees are $85. After the first hour, they are $85/hour. On site visit or on site troubleshoot is $49.95. If multiple visits are needed, i.e. parts are ordered, the time spent onsite is added together, rather than charging an additional service fee. Our service warranty is 30 days from initial installation. Warranty for the parts is provided by the manufacturer. We are a service center for Pentair Pool Products, Polaris, Sundance Spas, and Hot Springs Spas. Pool cleaning is bid per pool, most pools are $50 per visit. With weekly maintenance contract, chemicals are included in the price. For bi-weekly, monthly, one time, or green to clean visits, the chemicals are not included in the price. We test pool and spa water in the store, repair cleaners made by Polaris, Hayward, Kreepy, and Pentair, repair pool and spa pump in the store. "I purchased a Heavenly Heat Sauna a few weeks ago . What I liked is you don?t smell any glues . I also liked its easy ( two man ) assembly. What I don?t like , in order to avoid using glues, they use pins or very thin nails. Some pins were missing and some were not beneath the surface. For the rough edges you?re provided with a small piece of sandpaper . Bot at a cost of over 5k you don?t expect to do sanding. My biggest complaint is that it takes almost an hour to get the sauna to 150 degrees. Definitely not worth the price. "

  • Make it a no-pet zone. Pet fur and dander can pose a cleaning issue, but it’s also not a great idea for your pet’s health and safety. 

It’s less expensive to leave your hot tub on all the time, though you’ll want to keep it at a reduced temperature. How much you use the hot tub is also a factor. You’ll want to keep it at a constant temperature between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit for weekly or daily use, then bump it up right before you get in. If you don’t plan to use your hot tub that often, you can turn it off as long as there’s no risk of freezing.  

Where you drain a hot tub largely depends on local regulations, but you must not drain chemically treated water where it can damage the environment. Direct the water toward a sanitary sewer drain that will take it to a treatment facility. If your lawn has a dedicated drainage area that’s free from plants and foundations, you can likely drain it there. Avoid storm drains, as the hot tub water will enter waterways and could hurt aquatic life. Likewise, do not pour it out directly on any public land or where it can get into your neighbors’ property. 

Properly maintaining your hot tub will prevent serious issues from occurring down the road. You should replace the filter once a year, regularly look for and repair small cracks in the shell, and test the water quality every few months. You can do this yourself for less than $100 per year.

You can also hire a hot tub service to service your hot tub annually to identify problems early, which could save you money in the long run. They cost about $100 to $200 per call.

Depending on the material and level of upkeep, hot tubs can last anywhere from five to 20 years. Having a professional service your hot tub once a year and addressing issues immediately will help prolong the life of your hot tub.
