These men were very helpful in prep us for the job. They did a temporary hook up so that we would have water at night when we were at home and worked on the wiring and plumbing during the day when we were gone. We experienced little to no inconvenience. We highly recommend them.

You can choose to share this report with the other party, but this isn’t a common practice. As a seller, you would typically only get a sense of the most significant inspection discoveries when you receive a request for repair from the buyer.

It’s okay to buy a house with knob and tube wiring if it’s safe, functional, and still in good condition as well as a minimum of 60 amps. However, a professional should conduct an electrical inspection of the knob and tube wiring to ensure it’s up to code as well as safe and functional. However, the usual 60-amp service boxes can’t handle electricity from 100-amp breakers, making it difficult or impossible to power modern devices.
