All About Homes

After the spring 2012 tornadoes, my Norman home required extensive repairs. I sought estimates from five or more general contractors. Because my work required travel, I could only be at the property on the weekends. All About Homes responded to my initial inquiry within 24 hours and was the only contractor willing to work around my schedule in an effort to complete a joint a walk-around.
At the walk-around, the contractor was very helpful, explaining discrepancies between actual damages and the insurance adjustment worksheet. I had very specific requirements as to cost and materials for the job, and All About Homes far exceeded my expectations in presenting me multiple options to effect my vision within my budget. The ultimate estimate also came in around $1,500-2,000 lower than any of the other contractors I contacted.
After we reached an agreement, work began almost immediately on the roof and the fence. The laborers were friendly, polite, and kept construction debris in check. I received frequent updates from All About Homes owner/contractor, Eric. The work on the roof also exceeded my expectations, as Eric made sure all roofing fixtures (stacks. turbines, etc.) were reset appropriately and painted to match the new roof and anticipated color of the new siding. Eric also was able to repair an original window, which all other contractors stated would require replacement.
Eric was very helpful in negotiating with the insurance company for full replacement of the siding rather than the spot repairs called for in the initial insurance adjustment report. The negotiations with the insurance company took nearly a year, which explains the length of time between commencement of the work and its completion. Eric was professional and punctual. His work also showed an attention to detail, which was refreshing after seeing some of the other work done in my neighborhood. Despite reading many contractor horror stories, I must say my experience has been excellent. Eric has earned my trust and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

First day walk through, then discussed products and supplies needed, then a recap of cost. Second day moved out necessary furniture started covering floors then began his magic.
After everything was completed we walked through the home and Eric pointed out a few of the extras he preformed. We were very happy with these results.
