"Dalton and Roberto installed a lovely shower, and they kept my home in order during the process. Great young men. Dalton was very good at listening to what I wanted and tried his best to accommodate the things I wanted for the shower!"

"A crew from Groundworks installed eight floor supports and encapsulated our crawl space last week. Jorge, Isaac, Kenny, Zacch, and Anthony did a great job! They worked very long hours to complete our project in a timely fashion and were great to interact with. They identified several plumbing and air duct problems and brought them to my attention. Jorge, the team leader, was great about communicating with me and keeping me well informed. The after job clean-up was very thorough. Jorge has been available by phone for my questions even after they have moved on to another job. These guys are very deserving of five stars. Also, I want to give a shout out to Anthony who did our inspection/estimate. He was very thorough and patient and made everything understandable. Another five-star guy!"

"I had 9 windows replaced and the work was completed in one day. Salesman Dial was very knowledgeable about the product and he answered all of my questions. Installers Joe & James were very thorough and did a fantastic job of placing the new windows and repairing/replacing trim boards around one of the windows. It has rained several times since the installation and there has been no leakage - that's a good thing ! All parties involved in the process were friendly and helpful."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Unexpected expenses during plumbing projects arise from discovering corroded galvanized or cast iron pipes inside the walls of older Enid homes. Replacing these outdated lines adds significant labor. You must budget for mandatory permit fees and potential code-compliance upgrades for water heaters. Additionally, repairing root-damaged sewer laterals or addressing moisture problems in tight crawl spaces will increase your final bill. Avoid emergency after-hours calls to prevent premium OK service charges.

Helpful?

Safely manage minor plumbing issues by locating your interior main shut-off valve immediately. During an OK winter freeze, apply gentle, indirect warmth to suspected frozen pipes and keep the faucet open. You can replace a running toilet’s flapper or clear an accessible trap clog yourself. However, never attempt to operate the city curb stop. Document the issue with photos and note your pipe materials before calling a licensed Enid professional.

Helpful?

Thorough plumbing work includes a closed permit and a passed final inspection from local authorities. A certified specialist will ensure all exterior and crawl space pipes are heavily insulated against the Enid winter climate. Your water pressure will remain stable, and drain lines will flow smoothly without gurgling. A reputable professional will also leave your crawl space clean, dry, and provide a detailed written record of all completed OK repairs.

Helpful?

Start your plumbing projects by confirming permit requirements with local authorities. Verify whether your Enid home connects to a city sewer or a private septic system. Always call 811 two full business days before digging to locate underground utilities. Identify your interior main water shut-off valve for emergencies. Finally, assess the age of your pipes, and schedule major exterior work outside of the cold OK winter to prevent frozen lines.

Helpful?

A common mistake during plumbing projects is skipping required permits, which causes complications later. Homeowners also forget to insulate exterior and crawl space pipes before Oklahoma's hard freezes arrive. Another error is failing to check if the property uses a septic system or municipal sewer. Finally, many people overlook the variable water pressure across Enid or fail to account for outdated cast iron pipes hidden in older homes.
