"Lihai and his partner showed up on time and were very polite and professional. They asked questions to make sure what was to be done was what I wanted and where. For my EV Charging Station. Then they went to work. They knew what to do and how to do it. They didn't stumple at all. It was a Cold Day. After awhile it started to snow. So I closed the garage door when they didn't need to go out to there truck. Trying to keep it a little warm. But they kept on working. After awhile I made them Hot Chocolate to drink. They we're thankful. After that. Didn't take long they we're done. Very complete and professional looking. I would use Mister Sparky for any of my Electrical needs."

"I looked up potential installers on Angie's list on Sunday and called him on Monday. He told me he was currently working on a job but would probably be able to get to me later in the week after I described the job to him. We talked again on Thursday and I sent him some pictures of the window opening and he said he would have time on Saturday afternoon. He arrived around 12:30 with another worker and had the job done in under 2 hours. The window I had purchased was bigger than the original but he was able to make it fit by trimming the opening and when he was done it looked good. He calked around the outside and gave us some ideas on how to seal it better when the weather was warmer. I was very happy with the results and the price. I will definitely use him again for any other home repair jobs. I live west of Sapulpa in a rural area and I was very glad he was able to get to me so quickly and didn't mind the long drive.

"I decided to have guttering replaced around the entire house which exceeded the amount listed in the Angie's Deal.  We discussed a price and I approved the work.  I had asked for the cost of cleaning out the guttering  on the backyard awning..  They said  they would do it at no extra charge.  We had  some delays in the installation due to rainy weather but they showed up when the weather cleared.  They suggested a color for the house different from the one I originally chose but I went with their recommendation and I'm glad I did.  The new color sets off the house and it must have impressed the neighbor because they had the same guttering color installed on their house the next week.  The day of the installation they did not clean the awning guttering as we had discussed and told me they would be back to do that later. They came back to check on a downspout but didn't have time to clean the awning gutter.  They said they had not forgotten and would be back to clean it out.  That's been over a month ago and  I haven't seen them.   All in all, I'm very pleased with their work and their professionalism.  I would use them again but this time I would make sure that any work was not just on a "free of charge" basis because now I have to get someone else back out here to clear the awning guttering."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.

The cost of installing a 240-volt outlet for an electric car averages between $175 and $300. Depending on the type of outlet as well as labor costs, you might pay as little as $130 or upwards of $400. Hiring a professional electrician makes up the bulk of the expense but ensures a safe and code-compliant installation.

Yes, electricians must be licensed, certified, and in most cases, insured. Licensing requirements vary by state and local municipality, but most U.S. municipalities require electricians to hold an electrical contractor’s license. It's always a good practice to confirm requirements with your local municipality. Even if licensing is not required in your area, hiring a licensed and experienced electrician often leads to a better end result.

A license is a legal requirement to operate a business and is necessary for pulling project permits. Certifications, on the other hand, are typically voluntary and demonstrate a certain level of expertise. In some cases, a certified electrician may send an apprentice or journeyman to perform the work, but they must operate under a primary electrician who holds the proper license.

Before hiring, you should verify the electrician's license, insurance coverage, and any third-party certifications. You can use Angi’s contractor licensing search to confirm a pro's license status. Additionally, businesses with the “Angi Approved” badge on our platform meet strict criteria, including having the required state and local licenses, passing a background check, and maintaining a high average rating.

Having a Level 2 charger can increase your home value, especially as electric vehicles become more popular. Homebuyers who have EVs or are interested in getting one will appreciate the convenience of a ready-to-use charging station. The added value can vary based on location and buyer preferences.

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.
