"Because I just had these rods installed a few days ago (and now it's Nov 26, 2021) I haven't had enough time to evaluate the work quality and value - but I have no reason to doubt that both are good. I priced materials for this job, as I originally planned to install themselves, but when I realized that I truly didn't want to get up on the roof of my house (which is quite high) or to get on the roof of my barn (metal, thus slippery) I decided to hire the pros. So that I am very happy with and of course it therefore cost more than it would have if I had done the job myself - but it was safer for me, and also much quicker than I would have been. So, I am glad I called W B."

"Fantastic. The price to replace 2 30 Amp breakers/circuits with 1 50 Amp breaker/circuit was much lower than expected. The price to replace the entire panel, and gain a main disconnect breaker for future servicing was irresistibly affordable. I was entirely impressed with knowledge, work and professional demeanor. I will absolutely recommend CNE Electrical Contractors in the future, and would not hesitate to employ them again."

"Richard B, Donte B and Javaun W completed the job in 3 days. Lots of work, but they did it in a timely fashion. Richard was very informative about the process and checked in and out each day between my husband and I. I would recommend this crew to do any basement repairs. We inspected the entire basement and everything is exactly up to what the contract advised."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Designs typically take 2-6 months, depending on factoring, project size, and customization needs. Larger or more complex designs may require additional time for approval and revisions.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Regular meetings, reviewing drafts, and providing input on materials help align the project with your vision.

You likely need to hire an architect for your new house design and build, unless you have the design skills and experience with building regulations and standards needed to get your plans approved. If you are able to meet the design requirements, you can hire a draftsperson to create the blueprints for the builders to follow.
