My wallpaper had been on the walls for close to 30 years and they literally had to chip it off. They then skim coated the walls perfectly. Looked like brand new drywall. They then painted all the rooms including ceilings and it is just PERFECT!! I can't praise them highly enough. Needless to say I highly recommend them. I promise you will not be very pleased!!"

"Very well done. There were some hard to remove stains on the old deck and several boards needed replaced. All were replaced and deck stains removed. The new stain was a new color and I had no places where I saw the old stain color at all. I would recommend this service again and I plan to have them do this again in three years. "Minka Painting is an excellent and professional company and provided exceptional services and pricing. Mauro, the owner always communicated with us whenever we had questions and provided painting services according to contract. He & his workers did an excellent job in power washing and scraping our home, which was in bad shape. However, it was the parts of the job that was went above and beyond the scope of our contract that really impressed us. Part of the sideboard to the roof had come apart, which they fixed no charge. There were areas under our porch we hadn't included, they made sure were painted. They cleaned our yard and our neighbor's yard before completing the job. They even replaced missing bulbs in our flood light. They applied 2 coats of topcoat as contracted, when we pointed out a couple areas we thought could use more paint they re-applied more paint. Whenever Mauro was unavailable, his brother, Carlos was on sight to make sure everything ran smoothly or talk to us about the job. The before and after pictures speak for themselves. We would definitely recommend Minka Painting to anyone looking for a professional and trustworthy company."

"The guys showed up on time and ready to get it done. They repaired the area that needed done and painted the ceiling and wall in about 4 hours. I did call them and asked that they come back because I thought that I saw something on the wall. JP explained what happened and 5 minutes later, I was totally happy! My only issue was being charged for a gallon of ceiling paint out of a 5 gallon bucket. I raised this issue with Brian and he adjusted my bill. I explained that customers will not be happy with how he did that part of his business and he said that he would reconsider how he deals with ceiling paint in the future. I'm really happy with the job they did and how quickly and thoroughly they completed the job. I will recommend this company."

I contacted Them to wallpaper a 54 inch by 54 inch by 8ft half bath. I was going to have everything in the little bath removed. I was also going to do the prep work; which included painting the little ceiling and removing the border. All he had to do was hang the wallpaper. I had everything he needed. The wallpaper is a simple drop match. In addition, there are really only three walls. The door takes up most of one of the walls. The job could have been completed in less than four hours. I wallpapered for 30years. I had him peg as being slick two minutes after he walked into my house. He spent to much time looking around in my house. I suspect that he was trying to figure out just how high he jack the price. The job was so simple that he could have emailed me the estimate the next day, but he did not. After two days I started emailing saying that I am waiting for the estimate, he would respond with oh its coming. However, he still had not mailed it to me. I kept emailing him, and he kept saying that its coming. Until the last time I emailed him, and he responded by saying that he mailed. I responded by saying that makes no sense, and I said why didn?t you just email me the quote instead of putting it in the mail. He then responded by saying he didn?t have my email address. Really!! My first contact with this company was via email, and ever subsequent contact was via email. Lastly, I replied my saying all you had to do was return the email; just like you have in the past. He knew he was up to no good. He was clearly tying to take advantage!!! The so called trades people on Angie?s List of some of shadiest and slickest people I think that I have ever encountered. The old corner gas stations ran themselves out of business with the same kind of behavior. It is lost, because I had intended to have a lot of interior work done this up coming year.
