Phenomenal job.

This is the second time that we have used AOS, and they have been great on both occasions. The recent repair involved a broken gate post that prevented our gate from closing which created a security situation for our parking lot. Even though Jeff and AOS were heavily booked, they managed to squeeze us in given the safety implications. We have been very impressed with both their customer service and their work! They have certainly become our go to fence contractor.

I would highly recommend this company. Family owned and operated, Jeff, his brother and a worker performed the needed fencing. The end result was excellent. They cleaned up each night and took away all materials from the job. No nails or stray lumber in the yard and not other refuse to remove. They took pride in their work and were very good at communication and updates for any weather or material delays. I would not hesitate to use them again for any work. I would recommend you give them a call.

Jeff and his 2 men were the nicest people, ever! Hard workers, knew what they were doing and did it perfectly! They should get a rating of A++++ They removed old thin wire from a Kentucky Board fence & replaced it with heavy duty black wire fencing. Big Job! Removed poorly built gates & replaced it one red cedar roll top gate, sturdier hinges and a hand opener that really works. Also, put in 6x6" treated pine posts 12 " in diameter and 32" deep in concrete footing. Also, lined the gate with metal bars for sturdiness. Fantastic!!! The clean up was perfect. The whole job was perfect. And they completed the job in one day - as promised!

I contacted Jeff at AOS Jan 1 after a tree came down and took out my back fence. Jeff and his brother got the tree cut up and temporary fence up to protect my dog. They had it installed the very next day. The old fence was over 30 years old so after getting an excellent quote from AOS, I hired them not only to repair the broken section but to replace the existing side privacy fence and gate as well as upgrade the entire perimeter with 4’ green coated fence. The weather and wind were beyond terrible but they pushed through each day with below 0 windchills. I cannot say enough about these 3 guys and there work ethic and dedication to an excellent job well done. THANK YOU

AOS installed a beautiful aluminum fence and gates in our back yard two years ago allowing us to fully enclose the yard for our dogs. The very positive reviews then were all true and the fence looks/works as great as it did 2 years ago. I use Angie’s list all the time, but this is my first actual review only because they were so impressive. I highly recommend these guys!

We selected Advanced Outdoor Services for the job because of their consistently excellent ratings on Angie's List, and we were very pleased with their work. When we bought our house in the 1970's, it had wrought-iron-type railings on each side of the front steps. They worked well, but twenty years later were rusting out, so we had another contractor replace them with a heavy-pipe railing just on one side. It was more or less functional, but not too attractive, and eventually came loose at the bottom. We decided we wanted to go back to railings on each side, and AOS obtained the black aluminum railings we liked and installed them. The porch looks much more attractive now, and gives us a handhold on each side of the steps. Jeff Luman and his brother and crew handled every aspect of the job, including relocating our mailbox, personally and professionally, and we're pleased with this improvement to our home.

These guys are top notch. The company is owned and operated by two brothers. Jeff bids the job promptly and fairly. They showed up for our job with a four man crew including the two brothers who worked just as long and hard as the rest of the crew. I figured it would be a four day job but they completed it in two days (working until 6:30PM the second day). Although they work quickly and efficiently, they were very careful about getting everything aligned properly. They don’t talk much or slow down even though it was in the upper 60s and low 90s when they did our job. They have a lot of specialized self-propelled boring and auguring equipment but still did many of the holes by hand. They were very careful of the lawn and landscaping. They did an A+ job and would highly recommend their services.

I'm really glad i chose to work with Advanced Outdoor Services LLC. This is the second fence I've had them build (the first was on a previous property). Both experiences have been exceptional. It is rare to be able to recommend a contractor or service provider without qualification, but in this instance I am absolutely comfortable doing so. They provide an exceptional level of professionalism, quality, and customer service. I'll explain what I mean... Professionalism: - responses and quotes were promptly returned - showed up on time and on schedule every day of the project - respected my property by parking on the street, putting all removed dirt on pads, cleaning up afterward. It seemed like the backyard was left neater than when they started. - workers were quiet, dressed professionally, and communicated well Quality: - Materials seemed of the highest quality... The treated poplar boards seemed thicker than most I've seen, with all bad spots removed. The gates were impressive - smooth action and extremely solid. No one else builds gates like AOS. - Workmanship was of the highest quality... You don't get a contracted crew, you get the owner. And each person on the crew treats the job with the same care as the owner. Fence lines are super straight, and I watched the workers check each board personally before installing. - If you watch the crew work, the process they use is very exact, and really doesn't leave room for bad results. It's really impressive. Customer Service: - The owner took the time to ask what I wanted, and checked back frequently to make sure the job was done well. They really cared about my family being happy with the finished product. - I will admit that I wasn't the easiest customer on this project, as there was an issue with a permit that delayed the project. The crew was extremely patient, and even stayed late on Friday to ensure the job was done on time (even though the delay wasn't their fault). Didn't even complain. I have been extremely happy with both fences AOS has installed for me, both in the finished product, and the service experience. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Jeff was fantastic to work with! I got 7 estimates from a variety of businesses including multiple big box places. Many estimates felt like a sales pitch, but not Jeff’s. He was honest and upfront about his work. It was nice to know that he would be the one actually installing my fence (often it is subcontractors) and that my money would be going to a smaller family-owned business. He patiently discussed a few fencing options and gave me multiple estimates for different ideas I had. I discovered issues with some boundry lines on my property that delayed the start date of the fence, but Jeff was very understanding and flexible. He had the help of his brother and I think one other gentleman who were very professional. I read another review that said these are the type of guys you’d want to be your neighbors—so true! They were not the cheapest, more middle of the road. But you get what you pay for! The quality of my fence is amazing and really brings my backyard together. Everyone who comes over compliments my fence. When people ask who did my fence, I am proud to say AOS! Will definitely come back to them if I ever need future work!

Jeff and his crew did a Fantastic job. Took them only a day and half and that included removing and hauling away the old fence and installing the new one plus custom building the gates. They used top quality materials and their craftsmanship was excellent. We highly recommend them.

The entire project took 2 1/2 days (with a short break for rain and thunder on day 2). As the work progressed, the team (Jeff, Jeremy and Jamie) invited my comments to make sure that all aspects met my satisfaction. All posts were set in concrete and the overall work quality was excellent. The area did not need any cleanup after the team was finished.

WONDERFUL!!

I could not have been happier with the job AOS did in fencing in my backyard. I got 3 bids, and while not the cheapest (when you do your research, you find do NOT want the cheapest) it was by far the best value. They did vinyl and some chain link. The materials were top-notch and the installation was literally "perfect" just as promised. Jeff and Jeremy pay attention to detail, from perfect elevation along a slope, to solid posts, to a perfect and straight sight line. It looks great and will last. They removed all dirt and debris, and even took the time to fluff-up the grass with a blower afterward. Not necessary, but an indicator of a company that cares about quality. There are not many of those out there.

Jeff and his brother and crew were fabulous! He gave me a detailed estimate which I changed a few times and did the work as promised. They arrived on time, did everything I wanted, put up with me asking a million questions and cleaned up when finished. They did a wonderful job adding new fencing to my partially fenced yard in order to keep my new puppy contained. They stuck to the contract with no surprises. They were all very hard workers and I am thrilled with the job they did. I would not hesitate to hire them again if I ever need more work done. Thanks Jeff and crew for a great job!!! It's nice to find some really nice, hard working guys that get the work done perfectly!

The attention to detail was impressive, the professionalism and courtesy outstanding and the site organization, preparation and clean up second to none.
