Offers commercial services

Rustassassin is a local veteran owned/family run business . I specialize in residential and commercial mobile media blasting and material hauling as well as skidloader work. *NOTE.. I currently do not sell or bulk store any materials. Materials such as soil, mulch, gravel and sand will have to be purchased through a company by the customer and delivery will be arranged. My company is environmentally safe, the blasting media I use is pet and vegetation friendly. I intend to be extremely competitive and understand the value of building life long relationships with my customers. Once you use my services you will never have to find another sandblasting service. Prompt reply to your request will be done at the end of each business day as I am the one doing the work and making the calls. Call or E-mail today and lets get things done.

"I called the Yoders to come out and give me an estimate in early April 2012.  They came out and gave me a quote on a complete roof replacement.  The salesman was very knowledgeable about the products and services.  Although they weren't the cheapest, I found them to be the most professional and to have the best reputation.  They were out to my house within two weeks after we authorized the quote and had my roof off and on in one day.  The crew was very professional.  Will be recommending them to my friends and family."

"My kitchen was severely outdated from wallpaper to carpet on the walls to old fashion panelling on the countertops and backsplash. It was a time consuming process however my the walls needed quite a bit of repairing done but the end results were amazing!! Walls were painted light weight beige along with white trim. The counters were modified with a wood backsplash in which a paint kit from Lowe’s was applied to it and to the countertops. Paint goes a long way! Kitchen looks beautiful!!"

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.
