"Buyer beware. Ultimately this project was a bait and switch. Sales over promised and design could not deliver on the proposed system. I spent more than 2 months attempting to understand what the changes yellowlite made to the design and function of the system were. By the time I finally got answers on that it was clear the project could not be delivered on as promised by sales at the pricing which was quoted due to end of federal solar subsidies. 2 months I tried to work in good faith with this company to find something which was agreeable to both myself and yellowlite. Unfortuantely, that did not come to pass. About 1 month ago prior to posting this review I was told this was to be handed over to their business unit for cancellation of the project. Since then Yellowlite has ignored any additional communication from us. I can assume for nothing else besides malice for expecting them to honor what their sales team has promised. "Horrible door install!!! Does not close properly, large gap between frame and wall, can see daylight when closed, horrible trim cuts, corners don?t touch and are splintered, obviously used wrong type of saw, used nail head and hammer on trim so I can?t caulk or paint over these nails. This door was custom made. Home Depot measured the opening so it was very expensive and is now ruined. I thought Anji?s list advertised professionals but that is not the case. This was the most amateur work I have ever seen and has cause me much anxiety and sleepless nights. The company owner repeatedly told me he is a Veteran AND an Engineer however, he had no explanation other than to cut the wall out?????? What??? He is a good talker and offered $99 back. However, it is costing me quadruple that to have this door torn out, and reinstalled, and having to purchasing all new trim. If you take pride in you home do not hire this company."

"YellowLite installed my solar system (36 panels, 91% of my energy requirements) in mid-Feb 2020. I have not paid a utility bill since then, and still have a $500 credit on my net metering. Not bad for an all-electric tri-level home, where I keep the AC set on 72F all summer..... I used the EnergySage website to gather quotes and do my research. Of the four quotes (one outside of EnergySage), YellowLite was the best system in terms of energy generation, as well as least expensive by a wide (about 20K) margin. The installation crew were very efficient and professional, as were all the folks who were involved in the project planning, surveys and service initiation. Communication was a bit spotty before project installation, but things really took off from there and I honesty cannot recommend YellowLite highly enough. Installation took less than one day. The SolarEdge app lets you see exactly what your system is generating every hour of every day. It's so wonderful to wake up every day and know I did something wonderful for Mother Earth, and it's paying me personal dividends as well. Even on an overcast November day, my system is producing SOLAR ENERGY. And if you do your research, you will likely find that if you need financing to go solar, your monthly loan payments will be about the same as you are currently paying to your energy provider; the difference is when your loan payments are completed, you will have FREE ENERGY for years to come. If you are thinking of a solar system, DON'T WAIT!! Your free electricity and your solar energy tax credit (22% in 2021) are waiting!!"

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Stack came out to install a new furnace in February 2025. They advertised quality installation and years of experience installing directly on proposal. When summer came around the A/C connected to the new furnace would not come on. We called Stack to come out and repair the AC at 8am - they did not return our call until 230pm on a 90-degree day. I did not know the issue had anything to do with new furnace install. I was told they had 100 VMs and couldn't get to calling us back before then. We have two young daughters (2 and 1) so this was an urgent repair for us. By the time they called back, we had already booked another company Westland (who is great) to come out. They informed us that the furnace was installed wrong. We were charged $400 by Westland to fix an install mistake by Stack. I called Stack and asked them to cover the invoice. She repeated the same thing on the phone 100 times saying they couldn't verify the furnace was installed wrong even though I have an invoice with details on exactly how it was installed wrong (details below). She should be fired. She repeatedly implied the other company Westland must be lying about the install issue. I would like Stack to cover this invoice."

Their price was the best! Their yearly service/maintenance contract is lower than their competitors. Todd and associates are professional, questions were answered, and any hiccup was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Two thumbs up!!!"
