I began designing and installing low voltage outdoor lighting systems in 2004. Back then, the only option to have outdoor lighting professionally installed was a national franchisee or using a landscaper or irrigation company that offered outdoor lighting as an additional service. The fact that I didn’t fall into either of those categories and was a locally owned and operated contractor specializing only in outdoor lighting, immediately set LDF apart from the rest. After several years of working as a one-man operation, I hired Kevin. Kevin and I worked together as a two-man crew doing all the installations. As we became busier and could no longer handle the work on our own, we brought on additional help and now have two great teams of installers. Kyle, Jacob, Wes and Tyler. He now heads up design/sales and continues to build upon his lighting knowledge with continued education, most recently earning his Certified Low Voltage Lighting accreditation through the AOLP.
