I was very impressed that he did not try and "jack up" the service price and tell me about unnecessary things that needed upgraded or replaced. The technician's name was Jesse. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The customer service people always answered the phone promptly and arranged the appointment for the next day

I called again and was told he would call at the beginning of the next week to tell me when he could come. He never called me until the next Tuesday, and said he could come the following day between 9:00 and 10:00 am. I feel his laborer prices are higher than average, although his invoice isn't very explanatory. I believe he charged me for time that he had to run out and buy high heat caulking. As an HVAC, isn't that something that should be a basic supply? He then got the caulking all over the back and side of the gas stove, and scratched up the new vinyl flooring. He remarked he wasn't sure how it the stove went back together. He also "fixed" the blowers by installing a different switch instead of new blowers. It seems like a cheap, rigged up fix because he wasn't sure why the boats were not working properly. I should have stopped him in the beginning after he remarked he wasn't sure how to do it, but his company was the original installers

- CUSTOM COMFORT SYSTEMS INCFraud Alert - Custom Comfort hires liars and unskilled workers. I recently called on Christmas Eve only due to the fact that with the weather and it being Christmas Eve, I knew it would be hard to get someone out to look at my furnace. One worker (Andre) came out for over two hours and could not figure out what was wrong with the furnace. He went out and came back with a part he did not know how to install or if it would work (which was another 2 hours trying to install) so he called his manager (Brian). At no point did the worker or the manager state if they installed the part they would still charge me for it if it didn’t work. His manager Brian (who was extremely smelly) came out and the part was installed but the furnace still did not work. Then the manager Brian said I would need a new furnace all of a sudden because there was a crack in the heat exchanger and left on Christmas Eve without the furnace working. How you could work on a furnace and not see a crack for over 4 hours is hard to believe. I called another heating company and they came out were are able to fix the issue in 10 minutes. I did not have a crack in the heat exchanger, did not need any parts and do not need a new furnace. Custom Comfort lies and does not have experienced workers. Obviously I will never call Custom Comfort again and I reported them to the Better Business Bureau for fraud

"Technicians used shoe covers, very neat and clean. They cleaned the duct and still no airmovement. They had to pull duct sheet metal to get at drier end of the exauhst hose and found it had seperated from drier. They provided a clamp, used shop vac to clean out the furnact return duct which the hose emptied into, screwed the sheet matal back in place all for the original price quoted for duct cleaning. "So Monday of Thanksgiving week, 11/22/21, my husband is investigating a leaking hot water heater. It was at least 10 years old. He couldn't stop the leak or fix it so he called a large company to get someone here to take a look. They called him back and said they couldn't get here until Friday, the day after Thanksgiving!!!! He did another search and called Thacker. He said the lady on the phone was very nice and that someone would get back to him shortly. He called them back because he gave them the wrong size of the water heater and they said they had one. Within an hour then were here with a hot water heater. Forrest and Ed brought it in and to the basement but it was damaged/dented pretty bad, even though the box was fine. Off they went to find another! They were back in about an hour and a half and installed it. Great job and fast in getting to us. Who would want to go without hot water for a week?! Not us! Thank you Thacker Heating and Plumbing. We would highly recommend!!
