Looking to start my own handyman service business/ if I know how to do it. Don’t know a lot of people to get my name out. So doing work for home owners that are in need of something done would be a great way to get my name/business going

"This was the best moving experience I could hope to have. Everyone from my first contact to the packers and movers was helpful, friendly and courteous. They went out of their way to accommodate what we needed and kept in touch with us every step of the way. It was so much nicer than dealing with a huge company that hands you off to sub-contractors - the service was very personalized. We had great experiences with Taylor, Adam, Lindsey, and then movers Marlon, Lamar and Thomas. They were super-easy to get in touch with and always responsive- they have several people looking at the emails so someone always answers quickly. The pricing for the long-haul move was competitive, but the packing was far superior to others. I would highly recommend this company."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

If your old bricks are in decent condition and you have the space to store them where they’ll be protected from the elements, keeping old bricks is often worthwhile. You’d spend anywhere from $70 to a few hundred dollars to have them removed from your property, in which case you won’t be able to use them for future projects. Holding on to old bricks in good condition means you can use them later for other DIY projects, potentially saving yourself some money on disposal and new materials down the road.

Food grease, soap buildup, paper products, and tree roots often cause serious clogs.

Once the fire pit ashes have entirely cooled, you can dispose of them with your regular garbage — just wait a day or two to be safe. However, there are lots of good uses for fire pit ashes around the house, so they’re worth saving in a bin outside. For instance, they can help repel pests from your garden and also add rich nutrients to the soil. You can also use the ashes in the winter; ashes are good at providing traction on icy driveways and can even melt snow and ice quickly.

Services include regular garbage pickup, recycling, and bulk waste disposal options.

Yes, you can recycle a small appliance. In some cases, a small appliance is one of the easiest to recycle because it’s  easy to transport and is in high demand for use as scrap metal. The most common recyclable items include toasters, slow cookers, lamps and lighting, microwaves, and food processors. Charitable organizations, scrap yards and utility companies are good places to recycle your small appliance.
