"I couldn’t exterminate bees around my bay roof window using spray I bought at Home Depot. The day they came and sprayed, it went away the same day. The technician Brett was very polite and professional. He sprayed around my house for seasonal pest control. It seems it is working but time will only tell."

"Jacob was great! Quick to respond and quick to solve my issue. He did a bald-faced hornet nest and tackled yellow jackets on my property. Neither have returned! Would highly recommend using the company!"

"Very professional and explained everything they were going to do over the phone and again in person. They are fast and efficient. We get water bugs where we live if we don’t spray. I was using a store bought spray that wasn’t fully eliminating the problem along with spiders. Ive never found a company that will also spray on the inside, that made a huge difference! Essential pest control came out a few weeks ago and I haven’t seen a bug since! I highly recommend them!"

"Shannon is very knowledgeable and was very patient with all my questions . Follow their instructions, they return calls right away. Harry was right on time and very professional, explaining procedures. Before you touch anything , give them a call and have a canine inspection done. Great company and service."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Preventing rats and mice from getting into the attic can be challenging, but it’s not impossible. Here are a few steps you can take to keep them looking elsewhere for a new place to call home:

  • Block or cover any potential access holes

  • Keep piles or stacks of firewood or other materials away from the house

  • Seal food and garbage in containers to prevent rodents from chewing through or getting in

No, you shouldn’t have to worry about bats in your yard as long as they don’t make their way inside your house. Typically, bats hang around backyards in order to consume bugs, especially if they’re located in the U.S. Bats that are native to North America can consume more than 500 bugs per hour, so they may actually benefit your yard if mosquitoes are prevalent.

Carpenter bees do not make honey like honey bees, but they are still essential pollinators. In fact, they have a unique talent called "buzz pollination," in which they use the vibration from their wings to help release pollen from the flowers' anthers. Honey bees are also vital pollinators but do not use this process because they are too small and lack the strength required to buzz pollinate.

Earwigs may look scary with their pincers, but they don’t pose a serious threat to humans or pets. They are not poisonous, do not sting, and rarely bite or pinch unless handled. While they are not known to transmit diseases, their presence can signal underlying moisture problems in your home, such as mold, water damage, or rotting wood. A large infestation can become a nuisance, and certain species may emit an unpleasant odor. Therefore, while earwigs themselves aren’t dangerous, a large number of them may indicate bigger issues that should be addressed by a pest control professional.

A rat nest often looks like a messy, loosely formed pile hidden in a quiet spot. It may appear as a ball-shaped cluster or just a scattered heap made from shredded paper, fabric, insulation, leaves, twigs, and other soft materials. Rats gather whatever they can find nearby to build their nests, often tucking them away in walls, attics, or behind appliances for warmth and safety.
