"Excellent workmanship, honest, exceedingly clean and attentive. Will have Dan Drazer do our cleanings and inspections from here out. Simply cannot be beat for the quality of work and honest evaluation. Zero shortcuts, explained thoroughly their process, and did a camera review of the work for us, before and after. There is a reason this company continues to get top ratings and awards across the board. This company takes pride in the services it performs."

"LeafFilter doesn't clean gutters, they sell and install their LeafFilter Gutter products and only clean the gutters if you buy their product. I can't even begin to afford their product so I wasn't able to get my gutter cleaned by them."

"Another contractor made a major error on our home and accidentally tore down a chimney. We found Justin and Luckey Masonry and they saved us from a potentially disastrous situation. Justin was very responsive to calls, came out to our home to inspect the damage and even cleared his schedule to prioritize our work because we had a tarp on our roof. Justin and his crew tore down our old chimney and built a new one over the course of two weeks. They took great care to explain the work to us every step of the way, and made sure the new structure was up to code. His team was incredibly courteous, clean, and did incredible work. Justin and his crew have an incredible attention to detail and made sure the area was cleaned and looking great before they left. While the original situation was less than ideal thanks to another contractor's error, Justin and his team made it a pleasant experience. I HIGHLY recommend them for any project, we are thrilled with the entire experience from start to finish!"

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You can remove stubborn stains from your toilet by scrubbing with a store-bought cleaner appropriate for the toilet’s material. If you’re looking for a homemade solution, you can also use vinegar and baking soda—just pour 2 cups of white vinegar around the edges of your toilet. Once the bowl is wet with vinegar, sprinkle 3 tablespoons of baking soda, concentrating on the stains. Scrub the bowl with a toilet brush and flush to clean the mixture.

Just a note: While combining baking soda and vinegar is OK, never mix that solution with any other cleaners.

The average house cleaner cost is around $180, which should cover about four hours of work. However, each project is different and costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on the house size and the cleaning needed. Other cost factors can include your location and what level of cleaning you want. Standard or basic cleaning may include vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting the kitchen and bathrooms. Deep cleaning costs about twice as much and often includes cleaning behind and underneath furniture, washing windows, and polishing hard-to-clean surfaces. Emergency cleaning, extreme cleaning, and holidays also impact pricing. Move-in and move-out cleaning typically cost more, too, because of the extensive, whole-house cleaning involved.

There are different reasons for wanting to wash your floor by hand or using a mop. For deep and thorough cleaning, hand washing allows you to scrub hard-to-reach spots, ensuring the entire floor is pristine. You may want to use this method every other month. Mopping is ideal for weekly maintenance and vast spaces where hand washing is too time-consuming and labor-intensive. Remember, cleaning your floors regularly is better than skipping the task altogether, so use the best method that works for you.

You’ve tackled the pee stain on the carpet, but that smell still lingers in the air. Yuck! Fortunately, you can use certain sprays to help remove the odor. A homemade baking soda spray, made with 1/4 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle, can help remove the smell of pee. You can also use an enzymatic cleaner directly on the pee stain to deodorize it.

Yes, you can use baking soda to clean your water dispenser. Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one quart of warm water, then use a sponge or cloth to wipe the solution on the inside and outside of the dispenser. For tougher stains and grime, you can also make a lightly abrasive paste of one part baking soda and one part water to gently scrub tougher areas. Then rinse the dispenser with water.
