"AMA concrete were reliable, professional, and worked above and beyond expectations. I requested a stamped concrete patio and also added a customized curve, and they worked with me to meet my price and desires. They were punctual and easy to reach with any questions. Very nice company who did an amazing job on my little patio. I would hire them again."

"We had Jesse help us when we moved last Fall. We asked him to paint a stairway (with high ceilings) and hallways upstairs and down. Then we asked him to paint all the doors and trim in the hallway (6 doors). THEN, we added four bedrooms and the windows (9). THEN we asked him to paint my husband's study. We just kept adding and adding onto the original project. Jesse already had commitments at other homes but knew we were waiting to move in. He would actually come in after working all day somewhere else. We truly appreciated him getting us into our home so quickly even if it wasn't as fast as we preferred.
It was often difficult to get in contact with Jesse because he was working out of cell phone range, or busy doing another job. We were still pleased with the quality of his work since we obviously kept giving him more to do.
Months after moving, we recently hired Jesse again to work on our former home. Jesse painted another room for us, another ceiling, and replaced an outdated light fixture. I'm sure we will come up with more work for him in our and quot;newand quot; historic home.

Concrete Cutting questions, answered by experts

While a high-speed circular saw will cut through metal, and even cut through multiple sheets at once, the fast-spinning saw blades create a lot of heat. This heat can damage paint and other protective coatings, leading to serious problems like rust over time. The cost to paint a metal roof again to avoid this damage is typically an additional $0.50 to $1 per square foot.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.

Some welding projects, such as repairing pipes or fences, require travel, whereas others, like furniture repair, do not necessarily require the welder to come to you. Travel and overhead factor into the overall cost of your welding project. Some of the most common welding projects include:

  • Metal furniture repair: $35–$100

  • Pipe repair: $200–$1,000

  • Small gates: $550–$750

  • Fencing: $1,200–$1,800

  • Fabricated sheet metal welding: $750–$2,500

The best thing to cut metal pipe is a durable pipe cutter that is made for metal. You may want to measure the diameter of the pipes before purchasing a pipe cutter to ensure it will be able to cut your metal pipes. Opt for a heavy-duty option to cut through metal like steel or cast iron.

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.
