"Called them out for bees and just over all bugs around the house . They came right out sprayed my house and around the pool . Found the bees nest in my railroad tie and killed them all . While roaches are nocturnal and prefer darkness, light alone is not enough to stop them, especially if they are seeking food, water, or shelter. A bright light might temporarily discourage them, but hungry or determined roaches will often adapt and venture into lit areas. For more effective cockroach control, it is better to focus on proven prevention methods. Certain strong smells may help repel bats, though this is not a foolproof method and is best used in conjunction with other deterrence strategies. Brown recluse spiders are attracted to homes and properties in search of shelter and food. Key attractants include a steady supply of insects, which are their primary food source. Consequently, things that attract other bugs, like food left out or poorly sealed trash cans, will also indirectly attract spiders. They also seek warm, dry, dark spots with nooks and crannies for nesting, such as untended wood piles, dirt piles, and cardboard boxes. Additionally, excessive outdoor lighting can attract insects, which in turn draws in spiders.

Scorpions cannot climb smooth, non-porous surfaces because their pincers and feet are unable to get a grip. This includes materials like clean glass, polished metal, and slick plastic. While they are excellent climbers on rough or textured surfaces like wood, brick, or stucco, their inability to scale smooth vertical surfaces is why glass jars and other slick containers are effective for trapping them or creating barriers.
