"Noah has done vinyl siding, fencing, and basements windows, and pruning/tree trimming for me. He has done a fabulous job with all four jobs. I highly recommend him and his work. However, please know if its a higher paying job in front of your job...he is going to that job before your job. So, if you don't mind waiting a few days in between your job, and I don't, now that I realize that...then he proves to be well worth the wait. Victoria K-Oakwood, Ohio 45419"

Small jobs welcome

"Highly recommend. Two amazing young men, Brice and Avery, who know what they’re doing. Very prompt, attention to detail and great communication. Very eager to please and quite professional. They have retiled a large shower for us, beautiful. Completed a huge deck plus trex boards. Looks fantastic. Got a rental property ready for us to sell: repaired whole wall, resealed bathtub enclosure, repaired an awful window situation, painted decking, and repaired crown molding. Sold 2 weeks later. Great company. Highly recommend."

Warranties offered

"Hired to replace my existing plaster ceilings with drywall, replace the old blown insulation in the attic with batt insulation, install a new ceiling fan including wiring, and rewire an existing ceiling fan. Juan and his guys are efficient and professional. They always showed up in the estimated time frame. They cleaned up the work area every day before they left and cleaned up at the end of the project. Extremely pleased with the finished work. Jason, the owner, is very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. Kitchen ceiling was cracked and falling the day after the estimate and I called Jason and he sent Juan out within an hour or so to brace the ceiling to keep it from falling. This was before I had even signed a contract. He had absolutely no obligation to do that, but I extremely appreciate it. It saved me a mess and damage to deal with. Would absolutely hire them again in the future and highly recommend them."

"The staff at Tech Pro is excellent! From the quote to the install they were very professional. The work was completed in the time frame given and the quote was honored. They added upgrades at no additional labor cost and still got the job done on time. We were devistated after the tornado and most companies were busy and inflating prices but Tech Pro has great integrity and I'm glad we chose them."

"We hired Barry to put in a wall in our third bedroom and put up a barn door, re route electrical and put in a new light fixture. Everything looked fantastic, they were on time and cleaned up after each day. This was an excellent experience."

"I had Lynn do quite a bit of drywall taping, repair, ceiling texture, and skim coating walls. He was very knowledgeable and got the job done quickly. He is fairly priced and does great work. Highly recommend!"

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.

Homeowners can increase the usefulness of their garage space in other ways, and one option is to extend the length of the garage by making it deeper. The process is similar to traditional garage extensions, but the end product is a garage with a different layout rather than additional parking spaces.

When choosing a drywall anchor, consider the weight of the object you're hanging and how much weight the anchor will need to support. The heavier the weight, the stronger the anchor you'll need. You’ll find the weight capacity on the packaging when shopping for anchors.

Also, remember that you can use more than one anchor when hanging something on the wall. If you're using multiple anchors, divide the object weight by the number of anchors to determine how much each will need to support. If you need help deciding which drywall anchor to use, you can hire a handyperson to hang your objects.

To calculate the number of linear feet of baseboard you’ll need, measure the length of each wall of the room you’re installing them in as close to the floor as possible, rounding up to the next full linear foot. If it’s your first DIY molding job, having a few extra feet on hand for miscuts is a good idea.

Duration varies by project size, but average-sized homes typically take a weeks.
