"They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. The drywall work they did looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. AMR was a pleasure to deal with and left the jobsite as clean as possible after everyday they worked. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to anyone."

"He did a really outstanding job!  He did a lot of little extra things for us to make the house look better.  He took his time on everything.  He was on time and very courteous.  We had such a mess and he really did a nice job fixing everything.  He really went above and beyond.  He worked a lot of long hours to get our job done and we could not be more pleased.  I would highly recommend Tony and will absolutely use him again."

"Chuck was prompt to reply and come out for a quote on the project. Work started the following week and Greg (the painter) was great! He was incredibly polite and detail oriented. He even took the extra step to clean some extremely high windows and a ledge in an overlook area while he was painting the crown molding. Chuck worked with us on pricing when we realized that the job was a bit bigger than originally quoted, but he was incredibly fair and we were very happy. Overall, we would recommend Cundiff Painting and Remodeling and would use them again in the future."

"It went very well and Cory stayed in touch with us after his visit to ensure we were happy. He made a second visit to reinforce seeding and laid hay down on the areas that weren't growing and the results are terrific!"

Deck Cleaning questions, answered by experts

For the best results, stay off of your deck for at least 48 hours after sealing it. Giving the sealant at least two full days to cure ensures it can fully penetrate the wood, giving you the most protection from sun and weather damage later on. Walking on the deck too soon can prevent it from properly curing and cause your deck to weather prematurely.

Yes, it’s definitely possible to build a pergola on an existing deck. All you need to do is attach the pergola support beams to the deck’s joists and build up from there. Beware that mistakes can damage your deck, so if you’re at all unsure of the process, play it safe and hire a pro for your custom build.

If you want to make a deck cleaner from products already in your home, there are various options. The most common is to use a gentle blend of 1 gallon of warm water and 2 tablespoons of ammonia-free dish soap. You can also mix water with distilled vinegar. Sprinkling on some baking soda can help to remove mold and mildew. You can add oxygen bleach (but never damaging chlorine bleach) to the water and ammonia-free dish soap solution for something a bit stronger.

Composite decking may never warp, or it may warp quickly. Several factors can influence the rate of warping, including the material's quality, installation method, and installation location. Generally speaking, high-quality materials that have been installed properly are drastically less prone to warping.

In most cases, there should be a small gap between the house and the deck, usually no more than ½ to ¾ of an inch. This space allows water and moisture to flow through instead of pooling against the side of your house. It also lets flashing protect your siding from runoff, which is one of the most common issues with decks.
