"I can't say enough good things about this company. Michael quoted me an estimate, we set date for work, he was there on time, had the job done that day and he never quit until the job was finished. He has all the proper tools needed and he knows how to use them. My home needed electric improvements. He removed the old light in the kitchen and installed a new led light and installed a completely new ceiling light in my pantry. He then put in a new electrical outlet and switch for that room. Also changed old outlet in laundry room and put in proper new outlet/switch. In my opinion, he went above and beyond to help me out. He even replaced my recessed light bulbs that had quit working. Would definitely recommend this company. If you call them, they call you back, you set your appointment date, they are there right on time and when the job is finished, they clean up after themselves. I know I will be using them again in the near future."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

Depending on its size and the quality of the installation, a floating vanity can hold up to 220 pounds. The total weight it holds includes the countertop, sink, and anyone resting on the vanity as they wash their face or brush their teeth. Be sure to talk with your contractor and check the manufacturer’s specifications to determine how much weight your vanity can take.

The most common room to remodel is the kitchen, which is unsurprising, as it’s one of the rooms we live in and rely on the most. Bathrooms come in second for similar reasons. Bedrooms, including primary suites, are close behind bathrooms, followed by living room upgrades that can include changing the floor plan to add space or make it more useful.

If done right, wainscoting can make a small bathroom look bigger, but it has more to do with the color choices than the wainscoting itself. If you keep it light and paint the wainscoting the same color as the wall, it can add depth to the design while making the room feel open. Another option is to add wallpaper with a large design on the walls above the wainscoting.

One of the most crucial parts of finding a reliable bathroom remodeler is asking for customer references. Since bathroom remodeling is a major home project, other homeowners will have a strong opinion one way or the other about the quality of the work and professionalism of the contractor. Ask any bathroom remodeler for a list of references, and contact previous customers to ask for their opinion and photo results. You can also look for online reviews and complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau.

To fill the gap between your bathroom vanity and the side wall, a simple DIY caulk application should do the trick. Applying a bead of caulk along the gap creates a seamless finish while also helping to protect the wall and prevent dust or debris from accumulating in the space.
