"Adrian was fast and thorough from the beginning - from the quote, to scheduling and installation. We had to wait for better weather to add the gutters after installing the metal roof, but it was no problem. Can't control the weather. Price was right, installation team (s) - tear off, install, finish work and gutters, were all great. You only need to replace a roof before moving if it’s extremely old or has more than just a couple minor damages. Finally, old underlayment removal is often included in the cost of roof repair or replacement, so there's no real benefit to leaving it on before installing a new layer.
