They removed and disposed of the insulation. They also cleaned the mold from the wood and walls. And they set off an air based mold killing product too kill anything they could not see or reach. "The company was very responsive initially, coming out to do an estimate and everything quickly. Ray seemed to be very competent and knowledgable about going through Dominion's energy rebate program. Workers showed up and completed the work timely. That was the last positive experience. NRG failed to submit my rebate paperwork, causing me to nearly lose my rebate. When I called/emailed Ray and the company to inquire, Ray failed to respond to any emails I sent. The person in the office assured me the paperwork was sent in (it wasn't). They didn't complete the paperwork properly, so Dominion attempted to reach NRG multiple times, but never received any follow up, causing me to lose some money on my rebate. NRG also had a man come and check out my roof, who told me it looked like it had been damaged in a storm. Attempted to work with him to get it replaced. Should have known it wasn't worth the effort when the guy failed to follow through on calls/emails from myself and the insurance adjuster. Eventually he came out, ripped off shingles when the adjuster came out as part of a "test". The claim was denied and the guy from NRG never really followed up again in spite of multiple emails and calls. So now I have a bunch of torn shingles on my roof and a notice from insurance company to have it repaired or I'll lose my coverage. Supposedly he'll replace the torn shingles, but its been 2 months and they're still missing."

"We called Kevin to set up an in-home estimate for about 2000 square feet of carpet. He offered to meet the following evening for an in-home estimate, despite the long day he had doing an install on another job. He arrived precisely ask he had indicated.

He explained all of the different carpet options we had, and spent at least 3 hours with us. The final cost was more than we had budgeted for the project, but was reasonably priced and in-line with other estimates we had received. Ultimately, we did not choose to Teppo Interiors, but we will likely have him to other estimates for us in the future, should the need arise. I would recommend letting him know what color scheme's you are looking for ahead of time, as well as some knowledge of the different types of carpet that are available in the industry.

Eli met with us for over an hour, listening to what we wanted for the remodel.   He provided excellent direction and ideas, helping us decide based on professional opinion and current trends.   Trying to save money, we asked if we could perform some of the tasks on the quote, such as cabinet and floor removal.   Eli reduced the quote, working with us and identifying things we could do or change in order to lower the price.

Demo was quick.  Crew did a great job cleaning up afterwards.  Time was taken to make sure demo was completed leaving nice, clean lines for the drywall guy.

Had to change plans and increase work on wiring job and ceiling patch.  Ceiling had to be completely removed vs. the originally planned few patch jobs.  Additional light boxes and a few other items had to be purchased, not included in original quote.  The new charges were reasonable, covering additional supplies required and not the labor.  Eli went the extra mile to keep us as close to budget as possible.

Drywall patching in numerous areas turned out perfect.  We were told by other contractors the job could not be done without complete removal.  The patches turned out seamless and beautiful, can't even tell where things were patched.  Ended up patching more of the ceiling than originally planned due to wiring issues.

Had a few surprises with the floor as well, and couldn?t have known until after demo.  Again, the team addressed the issue and solved it quickly and for minimal additional charge.  Team installed 350 sq ft of 12x24? porcelain tile in dining room and kitchen.  A few tiles weren?t exactly level.  When reviewing the completed job, the team decided to pull them up and replace.

"Steve responded to my purchase within a few days and quickly set up a time for the estimate. Although the cost was more than I expected, as I mentioned before, this would have been a challenging task for me to do. In addition to what I wanted done, I added having the ceiling painted. Steve was able to schedule when I had time off rather than when he originally offered. The day the work was done, the crew of three showed up promptly and got right to work. They covered everything with drop cloths and did a thorough job cleaning up after they were finished on the second day. The paper was removed, the drywall was repaired where needed, the ceiling was painted, and two coats of paint were applied to the walls. All outlet covers put back and the vertical blinds were rehung. I am very pleased with the end result."
