"Work was started promptly in early July and accomplished efficiently, until it slowed down and dragged on. Crew was pleasant and capable.   Work was finally completed in mid-November, after dispute over final payment. Major work was well done overall but the finishing up was not as well done. To successfully work with Buccilli Contractor it is essential that the contractor's proposal specify all work to be performed.  I accepted a general kitchen remodel proposal and then had a dispute over $2,000 for installation of backsplash, which I believed to be part of proposal.  Dominic Buccilli is a decent man and we resolved the issue.

"He did a great job and he (Bobby) was very professional, and he had a nice big smile which is very rare in contractors. They also stuck with the price they quoted and that's a big plus. I would recommend ABB Exteriors to anyone."

"He did a great job, by far much better quality than many contractors I have dealt with, which I have been many. He did alot of stuff each day he was here working and I would recommend him to others. Jamie was also willing to work later to finish the house as it was going on the market shortly, which I appreciated."

"Very good. We had an outage in the house, and we called the electric person, whoever's in charge of the thing. They said we have to call the electrician for you to come out. So they came and checked and an electrical electrician came out. There were some disconnections when they came out to the house. It was in some part of my house, not all of it. He dealt with my husband, so I'm not sure on the cost. The one thing we liked is it didn't take much time. They found out immediately, and it was excellent on time and money as well. Everything was excellent. They did a very good job."

"Everything was handled well.   It took about 3 hours.  The guys stripped off the old boards, replaced them, painted them, and attached the gutters back to the structure.      Overall I am very pleased w. the work!

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

When planning a general remodeling project, it's important to define the scope of work, understand your goals, and set a clear, detailed budget. You should also assess the current structure and consult with professionals like architects or contractors. Create a realistic timeline for each phase, obtain any necessary permits, and build in contingency plans for potential delays or unforeseen issues. Regular communication with all involved parties is crucial to streamline the process.

Stone, marble, and brick are common building materials of Neoclassical architecture, though you will also find wood flooring and a range of natural stone tiles. Since several home styles fall under Neoclassical architects' umbrella, a range of building materials—including traditional wood framing—will make an appearance.

Federal architecture is most common in urban areas throughout the New England states, including the older parts of New York, Pennsylvania (namely, Boston and Philadelphia), Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia. The style also dominated in parts of Georgia in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, so many historical homes in the area embody this home design. Salem, MA, has two historic districts that predominantly feature this architectural style: Chestnut Street District and the Salem Maritime National Historic Site.

Drawing your own floor plans is acceptable for many kinds of projects, including interior design and room layout. You can use floor plan software to create the plans but keep in mind that the floor plan will only be as accurate as the measurements you take and enter into the software.

No, space planning is not only relevant for new spaces. With the help of a professional architect, you can still create a space plan for an existing space.
